The Centerville Arts Commission is a volunteer organization of up to 15 members, appointed by City Council, whose mission is to involve the citizens of the Centerville area in the visual and performing arts. The goal of the Commission is to involve the entire community in the arts and, where possible, provide free arts experiences to everyone.
Along with Centerville’s signature event, the Summer Concert Series, the Arts Commission sponsors a variety of programs and events throughout the year including Art at the Trace to be held on Saturday, February 6, 2016.
Applicants must reside within the City of Centerville. Qualified applicants will be interviewed by members of the Centerville City Council. The terms are three years in length. Members meet on the first Wednesday of each month at 7:00 p.m. and committee meetings are scheduled as needed.
