For the first time ever, the Boonshoft Museum of Discovery is bringing its popular laser shows into the daytime with new kid-friendly themes designed especially for families.
Traditionally offered as evening programs for adults, the Boonshoft’s laser shows will now feature daytime performances during museum hours, making them accessible for children and families visiting during spring break and beyond. Held inside the museum’s planetarium, the immersive shows combine music with colorful laser light effects projected across the dome, creating a dynamic visual experience for audiences of all ages.

The new lineup features themes inspired by music and movies kids love, including:
-
Movie Magic – featuring music selections from Disney movies
-
Taylor Swift
-
K-Pop Demon Hunters
-
Galactic Odyssey – featuring space-themed songs
Each show runs approximately 30 minutes and is available as a $5 add-on to regular museum admission, making it an easy way for families to enhance their visit.
This marks the first time the Boonshoft Museum has offered laser shows specifically designed for kids and families and is scheduled during the day, expanding a long-running planetarium program that has traditionally been geared toward adult audiences.
