A little girl with her desire to cure cancer has made a pretty big impact on the Dayton area. Saturday June 13 marks the 10th Anniversary of McKenzie’s “Alex’s Lemonade Stand“.
Erica Monbeck, McKenzie’s mom, summed up the event for us. “Just about 10 years ago little McKenzie had her first lemonade stand. She raised about $400 in our garage & was so cute telling the reporter she just wanted to help raise $ to give to the Doctors to find a cure for cancer. This will be her 10th stand! Almost $30,000 raised with a big goal to get the number to $57,000 doubling what she has done the past nine years
