A little girl with her desire mckenzto cure cancer has made a pretty big impact on the Dayton area. Saturday June 13 marks the 10th Anniversary of McKenzie’s “Alex’s Lemonade Stand“.

Erica Monbeck, McKenzie’s mom, summed up the event for us. “Just about 10 years ago little McKenzie had her first lemonade stand. She raised about $400 in our garage & was so cute telling the reporter she just wanted to help raise $ to give to the Doctors to find a cure for cancer. This  will be her 10th stand! Almost $30,000 raised with a big goal to get the number to $57,000 doubling what she has done the past nine years

Festivities start Friday night 8-11 with the adult party at the VIP lounge Poelking South! We have some amazing silent auction/raffle items.

Saturday 10-2 is all about the kids and you can find McKenzie’s Alex’s Lemonade Stand at Elizabeth Diamond Company on Far Hills Ave. We have a 24 ft rock wall, slides, bouncies, Dayton Drones, Zombie Dogz, Awesome Yogurt, Local Love a Roaming Boutique, and SICSA Mobile Pet Adoption Center!  . One of this year’s highlights is candles with 100% of the proceeds being donated by West End Naturals. In one of the candles, will be a ladybug which can be redeemed at EDC for a fabulous pair of earrings!

This year we are raising funds in memory of Caroline Ann Carter.  Caroline battled neuroblastoma for 3 years before becoming an angel.

We hope you will bring out the family and support this great cause and most of all have some fun!!!
