Dewey’s Pizza School benefiting the Dayton Chapter of A Special Wish Foundation will take place this Sunday, June 2 from 11-2 at Dewey’s Pizza located at 132 Jasper Street (near UD.) For only $25, with 100% of the proceeds going to ASSW, participants go behind the glass where the pizza professionals teach the art of pizza dough tossing and once a “perfect” crust is achieved the pizza is loaded with the sauces and toppings of the participant’s choice. All pizzas are served buffet style along with Dewey’s amazing salads. Soda and iced tea is also included. Beer is available for an additional cost. The 2013 Dewey’s Pizza School will help grant the wish of 4 year old Jacob who is battling leukemia. Jacob’s very Special Wish is to go to Walt Disney World and meet Mickey Mouse. A Special Wish Foundation is the only wish granting organization located in the Dayton Region. Since 1983, A Special Wish Foundation has granted over 1,550 wishes to local children who have been diagnosed with a life threatening disorder.
