After operating a Mexican restaurant near Indian Lake for a few years, Gregorio Rosales opened Azul Agave in Miamisburg in October of 2025. Located at 1238 E. Central Ave. — next to Rocky’s Ace Hardware. The 2,700-square-foot restaurant featured a wide variety of Mexican cuisine featuring nachos, fajitas, enchiladas, burritos and tacos.
Tonight they posted this message on their social media:
“To our valued customers, friends, and community,
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the closing of our restaurant. This decision was not made lightly, and it has been one of the hardest things for our family/team to do. We poured our hearts into this place because we truly loved what we did every single day.
We want to be transparent and clear that our closing has nothing to do with the health department or any rumors being spread. Unfortunately, despite having loyal customers who continuously supported us, we were no longer able to financially sustain the business.
We are incredibly grateful for every person who walked through our doors, shared a meal with us, supported us, recommended us, and became part of our journey. Your kindness and loyalty meant more to us than words can express.
Although this chapter is ending, we choose to believe that maybe something greater is waiting for us in the future. For now, we are simply thankful for all the memories, friendships, and support we received along the way.
Thank you for everything. We will forever carry this experience in our hearts.”
