After working at Pepito’s for nine years the husband and wife team of George and Janet took all their savings and made a leap of faith, opening up Jorrge’s Cantina at 3800 Wilmington Pike (in the spot most recently known as Merit Grill) just a couple of weeks ago. Janet shares that this was “George’s dream and now it’s come true.” They serve breakfast Friday – Sunday 7am – 11am, lunch from 11am – 3pm Friday – Sunday (and will add more days soon – they are currently looking to hire some smiling faces) and dinner from 4pm – 9pm Monday – Saturday. They have applied for a liquor license, which they are hoping won’t take to long to arrive.
