The Cincinnat Zoo

$1 Admission at Cincinnati Zoo Wednesday

July 20, 2015 By Dayton Most Metro

logo_shadow1On Wed, July 22nd The Cincinnati Zoo is offering $1 admission on July 22nd for the Macy’s Kids, Cultures, Critters, & Crafts Festival. For the 10th year this event at the zoo highlights cultural dance and music, with a roving Mariachi band, circus performers, belly dancers, free face painting and more.  Families will be treated to a day at the zoo that also benefits Learning Through Art, one of the most recognized literacy and arts programs in the country.  Guests will be encouraged to make a voluntary donation to the organization’s “Read To Me!”

If you park in the zoo’s parking lot, you will need to pay the parking fee of $9.  However, as an alternative, you can park a street near the zoo for free. Zoo hours are 10am – 6pm, thought members can take advantage of early admission at 9am.  There is still a parking charge of $9 if you park in any of the Zoo parking lots, and it is possible to find free street parking withing blocks of the zoo, which is located at 3400 Vine St in Cincinnati, about 45 minutes south of Dayton on I75 at  exit 6 for Mitchell Ave toward St Bernard.
