Following today’s Supreme Court ruling affirming marriage equality, Mayor Nan Whaley has announced she will officiate wedding ceremonies free of charge for all couples through Thursday, July 2.
Wedding ceremonies will be performed at City Hall, 101. W. Third St., at the following days and times:
Friday, June 26, 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Monday, June 29, 5:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.
Tuesday, June 30, 8:00 a.m. to 10:0 a.m.
Wednesday, July 1, 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.
Thursday, July 2, 4:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Couples seeking a City Hall wedding are reminded to acquire a marriage license first, through their local marriage license bureau (including the Montgomery County Marriage License Bureau, 41 N. Perry St., 937-225-4656).
