For many years the owners of Clifton Mill have had a wonderful relationship with our friends at Dayton Children’s Hospital. During the Legendary Lights of Clifton Mill season, we welcome the hospital’s Ambassadors to be honorary ‘switch flippers’ which turn on 4.6 million lights. This is our way of adding additional ‘light’ to the lives of those battling health issues.

We invite the media to attend one or both honorary events.

Wednesday. December 1, 6pm, we welcome 11-year-old William McCoy III from Dayton. OH. He was born with sickle cell disease, in and out of the hospital battling like a champ. He is very academic and excels in his classes. FUN FACT: He recently created a comic book about sickle cell disease for other youngsters in the same situation.

Thursday, December 2, 6pm, we welcome 12-year-old Brody Heinrich from Englewood, OH. At the age of two, he was diagnosed with Craniosynostosis and also suffers from a rare auto-immune disease. To date, Brody had 17 surgeries, but doesn’t let it get him down. He is a social butterfly and loves to share his story with others. FUN FACT: He is a heck of a soccer player on a select team.

“We welcome both of these youngsters with open arms and hope to add a little brightness to their lives.” Said Jessica Noes, GM of Clifton Mill. “Our family has been touched by various types of cancers and this is our way of giving back to these fine young men and all the kids going through major health issues.” Added owner Anthony Satariano.

The Legendary Lights of Clifton Mill gates open each evening at 5 pm. Precisely at 6 pm, with the flip of one switch, nearly 4.6 million lights come on at once transforming the night into a shimmering world of Christmas wonder.

For 34 years Clifton Mill has been lighting up Miami Valley winters during the Holiday Season. We are open 7 nights a week through December 30th.

The Legendary Lights of Clifton Mill is an outdoor event and is weather permitting. Call beforehand (937) 767-5501. Admission is $10 per person, children 3 and under free. Concession Food is available. BEST TIME TO VISIT IS MONDAY THROUGH THURSDAY.

Clifton is in Greene County, Ohio three miles east of Yellow Springs on State Rt. 343, six miles south of Springfield on State Rt. 72, and three miles north of Cedarville on Rt. 72.
