With all of the devastation happening around us we often ask the question “what can I do to help?”  Your compassion is vital as we race against time to provide aid, hygiene supplies, support for clinics and shelters, mental health care, and more. You can help rush lifesaving aid to Hurricane Helene survivors and ensure we can continue our mission around the world to provide urgent relief and make a lasting impact for people facing disasters, conflicts, and health crises. A gift to this appeal will be used to support Project HOPE’s mission, wherever the need is greatest. Project HOPE — The People-to-People Health Foundation, Inc. Dba Project HOPE is a 501(c)(3) not‑for‑profit organization, CFC #11115, EIN 53‑0242962.

Here are some local events you can support:

Giovanni’s Fairborn will be open tomorrow, October 15th from 4-8. They will be featuring their Pasta Giovanni, Wings, & also serving up the full pizza menu along with some everyday favorites out of the kitchen. Proceeds are going to help those in North Carolina and Florida.

Smith’ Boathouse in Troy, is hosting a Dine to Donate event where 30% of our sales will be donated directly to those with boots on the ground organizing efforts for disaster relief on Thurs, October 17th.  Please consider joining us that evening and helping this dire cause.Let’s come together as Americans and help those who are suffering and have lost everything!
BLOCK PARTY FOR BLACK MOUNTAIN on Saturday, October 19th, 2024 from Noon-10pm at Miami Valley Gaming, 930 Watertower Lane, West Carrollton, Ohio 45449. Please bring donations to fill a semi trailer full of supplies to drive down to Black Mountain, NC! We will have games, food trucks, music, raffles, drinks (DORA approved), trick or treat for the kids, silent and chance auctions, a car wash and much, much more!
Hurricane Helene has left untold devastation in her path and Black Mountain, NC is just one example of a town left without water, power, food, or the knowledge that they have a home to go back to at all. Black Mountain is dear to our hearts however as it is home to one of our own from West Carrollton – former police officer Dan Wessling and his wife Stephanie.
Dan and Stephanie operate a restaurant in Black Mountain, NC which now serves as a beacon of hope for the community as they have offered up shelter, supplies, and safety. Those supplies and resources are now exhausted and they still need our help! Supply needs are changing daily but as the cold sets in and the clean up phase approaches warm clothing, underwear, socks, shoes, boots, sleeping bags, tents, blankets, camping gear, tools, gas-powered tools, cleaning supplies, peroxide, rubbing alcohol, feminine care products, towels, wash rags, cotton balls, soap, and anything of the like are certainly helpful!
All are invited to this family-friendly event! Please consider donating supplies, money, or time!

Branch & Bone– Through the end of this week they will be donating $1 per pour of our flagship hazy, Spectral Alphabet. So stop on in for a pour today!

The Wandering Griffin Brewery & Restaurant  will donate $1 for every Caleb Czech 6 Pilsner

Yellow Springs Brewery– Each pint of Boat Show and Festbier poured in thir Taprooms until October 15th will donate $1 to relief efforts through NC Disaster Relief Fund, and signage is posted in each of our Taprooms where you can learn more about the effort and scan a QR code to donate directly to the cause.

Rhinegeist Brewery(Cincinnati) will donate $1 from every Beer for Humans sold throughout October.
