The CET and ThinkTV are again joining forces for a regional fundraising event – The CET/ThinkTV General Action Auction! All bidding will be online and items will be shown on-air September 8, 2021 through September 11, 2021 on CET and ThinkTV16.
Help make this event a huge success by supporting this auction. Each night there will be special items that close out as well as items that are up for bid all week long. How does the Action Auction work?
All bidding will take place on this system. You will be able to use your smartphone, tablet or computer to keep up with the status of your bids and continue bidding. You will know which day your item will sell based on one of the categories of your item: Sept 8, Sept 9, Sept 10 or Sept 11. The items at approximately 11:00pm EDT or five minutes after Action Auction goes off the air on CET 48 or ThinkTV 16. You can be the winning bidder wherever you are in the world!
How do I participate in the Action Auction?
Get started online through this page. Just hit the ‘Register Now’ button toward the top of this page. Enter your name, address, phone number, email and credit or debit card number. A credit or debit card must be registered to place a bid. Browse the Silent Auction and start bidding on your favorite items! You may set a maximum bid if desired and GiveSmart will continue to keep you in the running until you reach your maximum bid. Also check out the Instant Buy items that are not up for auction but each has a buy-it-now price.
How can I keep active and know if I am outbid or have won an item?
You will be notified via text if you have been outbid. If you are NOT receiving the text messages make sure that you have the correct mobile number under your profile. The texts will continue to notify you when you have been outbid or reached your maximum bid. When the auction closes, you will also receive a text message if you won any items.
