FoodieCards decks are out!  Local fundraising organization Planned2Give has been putting these decks out since 2019 and they’re a great way to support local restaurants and still save a little on your bill.  The deck deals out $10 off your order at over 50 amazing local restaurants!  Decks run $30 and the discount is valid through 12/31/23. Each restaurant sets a minimum spend level, which range from $20-$50 to get the $10 discount.

They make a perfect gift for foodie friends and if you use just 3 of the cards, you’ve payed for the deck and still have over $500 in savings left to take advantage of. Decks are also available for Cincinnati, Columbus and Toledo.

New eateries to the 2023 decks include:

Backwater Voodoo, Cherry House Cafe, El Meson, Giovanni’s, Mz Jade’s Soul Food, Rob’s Restaurant,  Thai Kitchen, Thai Table, The Bar and Bistro, The Gourmet Deli at Webster Station and Zen Lounge

Here’s the full list of cards included:

Foodie Cards also have a fundraising option, where your school, sports team, church or nonprofit organization can sell the decks and make $10/deck sold.  It’s easy, we’ll set up a website landing page, and you share that link with all your supporters and they buy online and we’ll ship the decks out to them, so you don’t have to collect money, mail out  or  deliver decks.  Just share your link through emails, social media or newsletters and earn big bucks.  Reach out to Planned2Give for more info on this fundraiser.

About Lisa Grigsby

Lisa Grigsby is a Special Events Director with over thirty years experience in promotions, event coordination and public relations.

Owning Jokers Comedy Cafe for 20 years taught Lisa to maintain a sense of humor under pressure. She credits Leadership Dayton for exposing her to the amazing assets of the region and Clothes That Work for being her reason she stayed in Dayton. Her proudest accomplishment as a past president of the Miami Valley Restaurant Association was creating Restaurant Week, a twice a year tradition that continues to grow and benefit local charities as well. As a foodie, it's only natural that she continues to promote local restaurateurs with DaytonDining.

As a Dayton Catalyst, her desire to have ONE community calendar and advocate for the amazing assets of the region helped create the vision for the relaunch of DaytonMostMetro, now Dayton 937.com
