“Waffle Shop To-Go” returns as a carry-out event again this year, offered Tuesday – Friday of November 15 – 18 at Christ Episcopal Church, in downtown Dayton. In past years this has been a see and be seen event, with celebrity waffle makers, but during the COVID-19 pandemic it shifted to a carry out event, and once again this year it’s waffles to go!
Waffle Shop is a 90+ year tradition at Christ Church. They raise funds through the sale of their waffle lunches, and then grant the proceeds to small local non-profits benefiting the poor and marginalized. In 2021 they awarded a total of $16,000 in grants to 14 local organizations making a difference in our community.
Patrons can support the event using the online order & payment and use the Car-Side pick up in the Church Parking Lot.
