Since 2013, National Taco Day has officially fallen on October 4. But thanks to our friends at Taco Bell, the holiday has been permanently changed to the first Tuesday in October. So instead of honoring the humble taco on any random day of the week, it will officially fall on Taco Tuesday every year!

To celebrate the occasion, chains across the country are offering delicious deals for free and discounted tacos. We’ve rounded up some of the best deals you can redeem this year. So whether you prefer a soft or crunchy shell, chicken or beef, or spicy or mild salsa—there’s a discounted taco for you.

Bubbakoo’s Burritos customers can enjoy a $5 digital meal deal on Oct. 1. The meal comes with two basic tacos (soft or hard shell) with chicken, beef or pork and a side of chips and salsa. The offer is valid on app and online orders.

“When someone changes the date of National Taco Day, you celebrate it twice — on the new date and the OG date,” Chuy’s shared . On Tuesday and Friday  you can add a crispy or softshell ground beef taco to any dine-in entrée order for $1. You can also celebrate by adding a $1 tequila floater on top of any margarita.

“Visit your local Chuy’s dressed like a taco on October 1 and October 4, 2024, post your photo on social media with #ChuysTacoDay and in return you’ll receive a free, dine-in entrée of your choice on Taco Day(s),

IHOP is not directly celebrating Taco Tuesday, but as part of its menu upgrade, it’s offering new “anytime tacos and burritos.” The options are served with warm flour tortillas and a side of salsa.

Long John Silver’s customers can order four tacos for $8 on Oct. 1. Through Oct. 25, customers can also score two fish tacos for $5.

Qdoba rewards members can earn double points on all purchases between Oct. 1 — 3. Celebrate National Taco Day the Bubbakoo’s way 🌮🤤 Get 2 tacos with a side of chips & salsa for $5 on 10/4!

Between Oct. 4 — 6, Sheetz customers can enjoy $2 off any taco order when they make any purchase. The offer is available in the chain’s app.

Taco Bell has cooked up a daylong celebration Tuesday with hourly drops of $1 tacos, starting at 1 p.m. ET/10 a.m. PT when Taco Bell Rewards members can redeem a deal for a crunchy taco for $1. There’s 10,000 deals available for redemption between 1 p.m. ET/10 a.m. PT and 2 p.m. ET/11 a.m. PT. Another 10,000 deals for a different dish will start at the top of every hour until 10 p.m. ET/7 p.m. PT.Here’s the lineup of $1 deals (10,000 available for redemption each ho
