One of Dayton’s most popular food trucks has made it to the finals of the National Contest run by Mobile Cuisine.com. In an online vote to find the hot dog vendor of the year, food trucks and carts from across the country have been nominated for this recognition.
Zombie Dogz, owned by husband and wife team, David & Lee VanArtsdalen, have cultivated a cult following for their dogs topped with gourmet ingredients in the Dayton area and now needs your vote to capture the National title. You can vote once a day through 11;50pm May 1st. No registration is required to vote and in literally takes 5 seconds. As of this morning, Zombie Dogz has a commanding lead, but these contests can change leaders many times throughout the week long campaign. The winning truck or cart will be profiled in Mobile Cuisine and will hold the title of top mobile hot dog vendor for 2015.
