Owner and Chef, Dana Down has listened to the people. While the change to the Culina concept from Roost has been well received, she says their loyal customers have spoken. They have heard that Roost is missed! So much so that the decision has been made to return to the Roost Italian offering classic Roost entrees and sneaking in some of Culina’s most popular small plates! You have known and loyally supported for 13 years! This weekend, we will be featuring a Surf & Turf entree and Champagne Special to celebrate our 13th Anniversary of Roost!

Dana Downs

Downs says that “change will allow a return of many of the menu favorites that you have loved. Additionally, soon we will have free valet parking again!

They have also heard the comments of the needs for some casual options – so we are in early discussions about offering a casual environment in what has been known as the “Dough Room”.
We understand the desire to make the Oregon District walkable and safe during the warm weather months. However, the complete closing of Fifth Street and lack of access to close parking and use of a valet took a significant toll on our traffic and business. We are hopeful that these changes will help us return to the Roost everyone has known and loved for 13 years. We are also hopeful that there can be some adjustments to that in the future.”
These changes will take place over the next few weeks but our hours immediately going forward will be
Wed & Thurs 5-9:30
Fri & Sat from 5-10
Sun from 5-9, but then adding brunch starting in December!

About Lisa Grigsby

Lisa Grigsby is a Special Events Director with over thirty years experience in promotions, event coordination and public relations.

Owning Jokers Comedy Cafe for 20 years taught Lisa to maintain a sense of humor under pressure. She credits Leadership Dayton for exposing her to the amazing assets of the region and Clothes That Work for being her reason she stayed in Dayton. Her proudest accomplishment as a past president of the Miami Valley Restaurant Association was creating Restaurant Week, a twice a year tradition that continues to grow and benefit local charities as well. As a foodie, it's only natural that she continues to promote local restaurateurs with DaytonDining.

As a Dayton Catalyst, her desire to have ONE community calendar and advocate for the amazing assets of the region helped create the vision for the relaunch of DaytonMostMetro, now Dayton 937.com
