McDonald’s has revealed that the Big Arch Burger will be rolling out nationally on Tuesday, March 3 — and they’re calling it their “most McDonald’s, McDonald’s burger” yet, per the McDonald’s Menu Spotter.
The burger, available for a limited time, is “a love letter to fans who simply can’t get enough,” featuring two quarter-pound beef patties, three slices of melted white cheddar cheese, crispy onions, slivered raw onions, lettuce, pickles and Big Arch Sauce. Big Arch Sauce is described as “a tangy, creamy sauce with a perfect balance of mustard, pickle and sweet tomato flavors.”
The new burger first garnered cult fandom across Canadian and European markets in 2024 and was eventually added to the permanent menu in the UK and Ireland.
Weighing in at 14 ounces total — compared to the total 3.5 ounces of a standard burger — the Big Arch Burger is the chain’s biggest burger.
And with a big burger comes big calories and a big price.
The new Big Arch Burger consists of 1,020 calories, according to the McDonald’s website.
For comparison, that’s nearly the amount of a complete Big Mac Meal, including both fries and a medium Coke, which comes out to 1,170 calories.
The high-calorie Big Arch also has 53 grams of protein, 59 grams of total carbs, 65 grams of total fat, 3 grams of fiber and 175mg of cholesterol.
The Big Arch Burger has already appeared on the mobile app menu for some people, and it comes with a hefty price tag.
In screenshots posted to social media, the price seems to range from $7.59 to $9.29 for the burger alone, and a combo meal with fries and soda will range from $11.09 to $14.29.
Costs will vary by location since McDonald’s franchise owners set their own prices,. But even with the high prices, social media users who have already tried the coveted burger — mostly abroad or from the international menu at McD’s HQ in Chicago — are satisfied with it.
