We say it all the time, but the Miami Valley is full of some of the most charitable residents in the country.  While we may not rank as one of the richest regions in the country, we do see to rank as on one of the most giving as a percentage of incomes. 2nd Annual Healthcare for All Ohioans Gala

Last year we surpassed all expectations for our first annual Gala. This year will be even bigger and better! Special guests The Rubi Girls, music, a silent auction, hors d’oeuvres, and more.

We continue to build momentum to bring healthcare to all Ohioans thanks to the hard work that you have done and you deserve to celebrate but we must remember that single payer will not happen in Ohio without funding to make it possible. All proceeds will go to bringing healthcare to everyone.

Menu includes all of the pancakes, sausage, turkey sausage, coffee and juice your heart desires. So make sure to wear your Thanksgiving eatin’ pants.

The proceeds go to Extract Effect, a local tax-exempt, non-profit organization dedicated to ending child trafficking and the sexual exploitation of children.

Since 1998, YWCA Dayton has set aside one special day to recognize and honor women in our community. Join us in celebrating Dayton’s most influential women, all of whom have made a difference in our community through their dedication to the YWCA mission of empowering women, eliminating racism, and promoting peace, justice, freedom, and dignity for all.

All proceeds from this 23rd annual event support critical programming for women and girls in Montgomery and Preble counties, including YW’s domestic violence shelters and 24/7 crisis hotline, transitional housing units, and Girls LEAD! youth leadership program.

24th Auction Gala & Comedy Show Featuring Michelle Wolf

The Antioch School is a small but historically unique school. It was started as an education laboratory for Antioch College, and for almost 100 years has remained a true democratic school. The school is free from testing or grades and students are encouraged to explore and own their educational experience. The 24th Annula Auction Gala & Comedy Show, featuring Michellw Wolf, supports the children’s scholarship fund. Over half of our students and families are dependent on scholarship assistance.

The Antioch School is the oldest democratic school in the country and an essential Yellow Springs institution. The Gala is the school’s largest fundraiser, with proceeds supporting the scholarship fund.

For a 10th year, United Rehabilitation Services of Greater Dayton (URS) has been named the charity recipient for the Dayton-area Jersey Mike’s Subs nationwide “Month of Giving” campaign in March. Jersey Mike’s 600+ locations from coast to coast will participate. The campaign will culminate in the nationwide event, “Day of Giving” on Wednesday, March 25, 2020 from 10 am to 9 pm. The goal for this year’s event locally is $30,000!
