We say it all the time, but the Miami Valley is full of some of the most charitable residents in the country. While we may not rank as one of the richest regions in the country, we do see to rank as on one of the most giving as a percentage of incomes. The proceeds go to Extract Effect, a local tax-exempt, non-profit organization dedicated to ending child trafficking and the sexual exploitation of children.

All proceeds from this 23rd annual event support critical programming for women and girls in Montgomery and Preble counties, including YW’s domestic violence shelters and 24/7 crisis hotline, transitional housing units, and Girls LEAD! youth leadership program.
24th Auction Gala & Comedy Show Featuring Michelle Wolf

The Antioch School is a small but historically unique school. It was started as an education laboratory for Antioch College, and for almost 100 years has remained a true democratic school. The school is free from testing or grades and students are encouraged to explore and own their educational experience. The 24th Annula Auction Gala & Comedy Show, featuring Michellw Wolf, supports the children’s scholarship fund. Over half of our students and families are dependent on scholarship assistance.
The Antioch School is the oldest democratic school in the country and an essential Yellow Springs institution. The Gala is the school’s largest fundraiser, with proceeds supporting the scholarship fund.
