Today’s the day the Cheddar’s chain opens its first Dayton area restaurant to open. Starting lunch service at 11am, the 356 seat eatery, located in the Cornerstone development in Centerville, this family-friendly restaurant serves up American comfort food with a Texas twist.
The chain, which recently changed it’s official name to Cheddar’s Scratch Kitchen, started in 1979 now has over 160 locations. Founders, Aubrey Good and Doug Rogers, believed that when a meal is prepared and cooked fresh just for you, it not only tastes better, it makes you feel good. So that’s why they start their slow-cooked meats early in the morning. And they’re constantly chopping, whisking, sautéing and stirring, so they’re ready whenever you’re ready to eat. This explains why they have twice as many cooks as other restaurants.
Hours will be:
- Sun – Thur: 11:00 AM-10:30 PM
- Fri – Sat: 11:00 AM-11:30 PM
