Get Registered for the Gobbler Gives Back Tour

Ride a Bike and Make a Difference during the Gobbler Gives Bike Tour held November 18 in Dayton, OH.

Join Tomfoolery for their annual food delivery via bicycle to benefit the Foodbank Dayton. Load up your panniers, baskets, backpacks, trailers with food items and then pedal on a historic tour of Downtown Dayton on our way to the Foodbank Dayton. The route is suitable for beginners to advanced riders. This year the ride starts and finishes at Mike’s Bike Park. Food collections barrels will be at the park starting November 1st. The route is suitable for beginners to advanced riders. The post-ride celebration is sponsored by Bike Miami Valley that includes a turkey taco bar and a chance to test your skills at Dayton’s indoor bike park. Register today and support those in need in the Miami Valley.

Also NEW this year is a partnership with the Dayton Pedal Wagon. You can leave your bike at home and join 15 other friends on Dayton’s premier party bike. No additional fees apply.

 

Entry fee includes, Tomfoolery Outdoors sticker, celebrations at half way mark and finish line, access to Mike’s Bike Park, along with other surprises. Food and percentage of proceeds benefit The Foodbank Dayton. Online registration closes at noon November 17

Event day details:
9:30 – 9:45 am: Registration at Mike’s Bike Park
9:45 am – 11:15 am – Group photo, historic Downtown Dayton ride to Foodbank Dayton
11 am – 12 pm: Celebration and weigh in at Foodbank Dayton
12 pm – 1 pm: Ride back to Mike’s Bike Park.
1 – 3 pm: Post ride celebration at Mike’s Bike Park.

Gobbler Gives Bike Tour

Ride a Bike, Make a Difference with Tomfoolery Outdoors and Foodbank Dayton for a food delivery via bicycle on November 19. The Gobbler Gives Bike Tour will celebrate the season of giving with a fun bike ride and food drive. Load up your panniers, baskets, backpacks, trailers with food items and then pedal on a historic tour of Downtown Dayton while visiting food pantries on our way to the Foodbank Dayton. Please note this is different from previous years and will be a shorter ride. At the Foodbank Dayton celebrate with fellow riders as we weigh food, enjoy live music, snacks and warehouse tours.  At the finish line enjoy a sense of pride for giving to those in need and being active! If that isn’t enough, we have live music, food and beverage for all riders. Stay tuned for details of start, finish and celebration details. Think Thanksgiving feast with your new bicycling family.

Entry fee includes event shirt, celebrations at half way mark and finish line along with other surprises. Food and percentage of proceeds benefit The Foodbank Dayton. You must register by November 9 at noon to guarantee a tour shirt. Online registration closes at noon November 15.
