Zombie Frappuccino

Zombie Frappuccino Invaded Starbucks Today

October 26, 2017 By Lisa Grigsby

Starbucks fans got a new option today- the Zombie Frappuccino.  The green base is flavored with tart apple and caramel with a red mocha drizzle and topped with “brains” made from pink whipped cream.

While we’ve seen mixed reviews online, one thing is sure- Starbucks was thinking Instagram when they designed this one.  We’ve already seen hundreds of photos and it’s only been available for about 12 hours.  It’s available for a limited time only: today, October 26, through Halloween, while supplies last.

“We thought about what you’d serve at a Halloween party, and we settled on dipped caramel apples,” said Jennica Robinson of the Starbucks beverage development team in a release. “It has a tart green apple flavor balanced with a smooth, sweet caramel.”

Starbucks has been offering  Halloween-themed beverages for that last few years, offering a Franken Frappuccino in 2014, and a Dracula-themed Frappula Frappuccino in 2015 and 2016.
