We prioritize the health, safety, and dignity of each child we serve and give them the opportunity to feel seen and valued with every item chosen just for them.

HTC is the only organization in Southwest Ohio that freely distributes all the items a child might need to grow and thrive from birth to adulthood. Through our 70 community partners, we meet caregivers where they are and support them during difficult times as they work to secure their families. As the need increases in our community, HTC’s dedicated volunteers and staff remain unwaveringly committed to serving vulnerable children in Southwest Ohio. COVID-19. Lung Cancer. Lung disease. Clean Air. That’s why we Climb. We’re taking the Climb outside in 2022. We’re moving onward and upward, safely and responsibly, so that we can make an impact now to ensure a healthier future for all.

Join us outside for a reimagined Climb. Climb 956 steps of the Day Air Ballpark, and get exclusive field access, when you race the bases! All are welcome to share in this adventure, whether you’re new to the event or a veteran Climber. Elite climbers can choose a Triple Climb Challenge and race 2,868 steps!

Below are the route options for this year’s Fight For Air Climb with stair count totals.

Stadium Climbers: This route will include running the bases & weaving up and down the Lower & upper Bowl at Day Air Stadium for a total of 956 stairs and equates to about a half-mile.

Firefighters and First Responders: This route will include running the bases & weaving up and down the Lower & upper Bowl at Day Air Stadium for a total of 956 stairs and equates to about a half-mile.

Power Hour: This route will include running the bases & weaving up and down the Lower & upper Bowl as many times as you can, in one hour! Choose this climb for the Ultimate Challenge! This participation type has a $250 minimum fundraising requirement.

Climb Your Way (VIRTUAL): We recommend shooting for the 956 stairs the Stadium Climbers will be doing which equates to about a half-mile.

April 30 @ 7:00 pm
Beer & Brewing

Get ready for fun at the farm as Father, Son and Friends entertains us all with their toe-tappin’ Irish tunes along with the McGovern Irish Dancers!

Bring your own chairs to relax and take in the show as you spend time with friends and neighbors.

Your ticket includes up to seven (7) tastes from our local craft brewers who will be set up under the Farm Pavilion. Find your favorite brew and purchase full size beers ($7.00) from any of our brewers or the Bonbright Distributors truck. Warped Wing Brewing Company, Hairless Hare Brewery, and Fifth Street Brewpub (plus more) will join us.

This event will be for those 21 and over. Dress code is nice casual; we recommend wearing comfortable walking shoes as most of the event area is on grassy lawn areas.

100% of your ticket price will support Aullwood’s environmental education programs for local students. Get your ticket online in advance for $30

About Lisa Grigsby

Lisa Grigsby is a Special Events Director with over thirty years experience in promotions, event coordination and public relations.

Owning Jokers Comedy Cafe for 20 years taught Lisa to maintain a sense of humor under pressure. She credits Leadership Dayton for exposing her to the amazing assets of the region and Clothes That Work for being her reason she stayed in Dayton. Her proudest accomplishment as a past president of the Miami Valley Restaurant Association was creating Restaurant Week, a twice a year tradition that continues to grow and benefit local charities as well. As a foodie, it's only natural that she continues to promote local restaurateurs with DaytonDining.

As a Dayton Catalyst, her desire to have ONE community calendar and advocate for the amazing assets of the region helped create the vision for the relaunch of DaytonMostMetro, now Dayton 937.com
