The Flyer Launch Party. The first rides on The Flyer will leave from Courthouse Square during this event, which will feature giveaways, hot drinks and comments from RTA and partners about the new service. The Flyer provides easy access to offices, local dining, nightlife, entertainment, parks, hotels, parking, and all that downtown Dayton has to offer in 10 minutes or less. ![]() It’s the 48th Annual Dayton Book Fair at Montgomery County Fairgrounds! Ohio’s largest used book sale begins on Friday, November 9th and runs through Monday, November 12th at noon. Hundreds of thousands of books, collectible books, children’s books, paperbacks— sorted into 70 different categories. Bag and Box Day is Sunday, and on Monday, pay $1 to get in and take all you want.
Make it & Take It. Art lovers of all ages can drop in to create handmade items. For a $5 donation, create ornaments to keep for yourself or give away as gifts! You be the artist, they will provide the supplies and clean up the glitter! We Care Arts, 3035 Wilmington Pike, Saturday, 10am to 1pm.

The participating bars, are Trolley Stop, Crafted & Cured, Dublin Pub, The Troll Pub at the Wheelhouse, Toxic Brew Co., Wiley’s Comedy Club, Oregon Express, Newcom’s, Blind Bob’s, Tumbleweed Connection. All proceeds benefit local children and adults with disabilities at United Rehabilitation Services! Saturday. Discover more about World War II with Dr. Anthony Milburn of Central State University as he explores the history, tribulations and legacy of the 477th Bomber Group. The 477th was the only Black bomber group serving during World War II. This legendary group of pilots and soldiers produced famous leaders such as Gen. Benjamin O. Davis, Jr., Gen. Daniel James and future Detroit mayor Coleman Young. Saturday, 2pm.
