The Dayton Greek Festival announced today via their Facebook page “will not be holding our regular festival in September.” We confirmed with Erin Caldwell, the office manager for the Greek Orthodox Church, that it was a tough decision to make, but the challenges for this year just made it the right decision for now. They just don’t have the volunteer core they need, pricing increases and challenges with getting the necessary supplies made the festival planning just overwhelming. They are hoping they can work to build their team back up and bring the festival back in 2024.Online ordering is open now, and you’ll pick the time you want to do your pickup.
