Jungle Jim’s is launching a new Wine Dinner series for 2023

You’ll have the chance to drink excellent wines picked  by their wine experts as you dine on an exquisite five-course, guided gourmet meal courtesy of their executive chef.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Here’s information on the first scheduled tasting:

Friday January 27, 2023 for a 5 course Spanish Wine Dinner!
Spain, with more acres of land under vine (2.4 million) than any other country in the world, Spain has a tremendous variety of styles of wine from Cava to Rioja to Sherry.

Menu
Passed Hors d’oeuvre paired with Llopart, Brut Rosé (2019)
Aji Blanco – manchego almond cracker, Iberico chorizo, pickled mustard seed, marconas

Course 1 paired with Bodegas R. Lopez de Heredia Viña Tondonia, Viña Tondonia Rioja Reserva Tinto (2010)
Roasted Asparagus
serrano jamon, garroxta, prunes, root vegetables, fried herbs

Course 2 paired with Bodegas Juan Gil, Jumilla (Blue Label) (2020)

Course 3 paired with Bodegas Alto Moncayo, Campo De Borja Garnacha Aquilon (2011)
Beef Tenderloin

Course 4 paired with Alvear, Montilla-Moriles Pedro Ximénez Solera 1927
Fig and Apple Cake
Quince, blue cheese ice cream, balsamic walnuts, warm spices
