Cake Hope & Love believes everyone deserves something sweet—especially during tough times.Owner Shannon Teague shared, “the government shutdown affecting so many of our neighbors, we want to help bring a little comfort and joy where it’s needed most. So they are launching a Community Cake Co-op, a way for our customers to pay kindness forward.”
Here’s how it works:
You can donate any amount—$10, $20, $50, or more—and they’ll use 100% of those funds to bake and gift cakes to families and individuals affected by the shutdown. No strings. No spotlight. Just a genuine gesture of care from one neighbor to another.
They’ll handle the baking and throw in a extra dozen of cupcakes! You just help us fill the world with a little more love (and frosting).
Because sometimes, a slice of cake is more than just dessert, it’s hope.
