The Neighborhood Nest offers a great selection of gluten free breads, biscuits, bagels, cookies, cakes, pastries, and various savory items.  This week they are offering DIY Gingerbread House kits for sale.
Chef/owner Amber E. Tipton bakes these from scratch in a dedicated gluten free bakery and away from their nut area so safe for nut allergies.  You put them together and then decorate them.  Amber even has a video you should watch to give you instruction and tips on how to put together.
The $50 Kits include: house pieces, Royal icing (vegan available), dye-free/allergy friendly candy, and a cake pad and sprinkles. Houses are 6” x 8” x 12”
If you’d rather use your own candy order the $35 House only kit includes: house pieces, Royal icing (vegan available), cake pad.
Preorder menu will go up  on their website on Tuesday 12/6 and end Sunday 12/11 by 10pm. While you’re there check out their other offerings and know that the Nest has many partners so if you can’t make it to Fairborn to pick up your goodies, you have 12 options from Springboro to Troy and many spots in between.
