Working in a restaurant teaches you skills that are essential to life, such as tolerance, patience, multitasking and more. It is not an easy job, there is definitely a degree of tolerance and patience required. You have to be able to let the bad days slide, work hard, support your team, and keep a smile on your face.It takes a very unique person to thrive in the fast-paced, unpredictable, and chaotic restaurant environment. 50% of adults have done it, and 14.4 million Americans do it now. Restaurant work is not just a job, it’s an experience, and one that you should try, even just once. Here’s a round up of jobs available in the area.

elé Cake Co. Bistro & Wine Bar is currently hiring evening bakery associates and line cooks at our Austin Landing location. Please apply in person, thank you!

Mamma Disalvo’s in Kettering is hiring a part time bartender- about 3 nights a week as well as looking for bus boys. Please apply in person.

 

Watermark Restaurant in Miamisburg is looking for a part-time evening hostess-perfect for a mature high school or college student. Apply in person.

Grubhub will start delivery in the Dayton region in March and is looking for drivers to start delivering in mid-March. Must have car, smartphone, be at least 19 with a valid driver’s license and auto insurance.
 

The Food and Beverage team at the Dayton Racquet Club are hiring two servers to work part-time, Thursday-Saturday. Every individual hired on as a server at the Dayton Racquet Club will undergo two weeks of training in the art of fine dining.There will also be additional, in-house electronic training from ClubCorp. Applicants must also pass a background check.

 

Door Dash is looking for drivers. Work whenever you want, as little or as much as you wan. earn up to $20/hour, including 100% of the tips. Money deposited into your bank account every week. Must be 18+ years of age with a valid Driver’s License and insurance and clean driving record.

 

Christopher’s Restaurant is looking for the right candidate to work the sandwich bar in the evening. Must have attention to detail, and able to handle high a volume pace with a positive attitude. Responsibilities include: following recipes to spec, food prep/service, stocking/refilling station, cleaning as you go, practice proper sanitation, closing down at the end of the night, leaving the station setup for the dayshift. Rapid Fired Pizza is now hiring managers. Must have the ability to lift up to 40 pounds.
Must have the ability to be on your feet for extended periods of time. Must have one year experience in the restaurant industry, preferably in a management role, but will consider all restaurant applicants for management. Level 1 or Level 2 Certification in Food Safety Preferred.
