Chicken Salad Chick’s Annual Cookies for a CURE

Chicken Salad Chick announced the return of its Cookies for a CURE promotion this September in partnership with CURE Childhood Cancer, an Atlanta-based nonprofit dedicated to funding life-changing pediatric cancer research and supporting children and families nationwide. Following significant franchise growth across the U.S. since last year’s campaign, Chicken Salad Chick anticipates this year’s Cookies for a CURE promotion will generate the largest single-year donation in the campaign’s history.

Since 2017, the Chicken Salad Chick Foundation has donated more than $2 million to pediatric cancer research and fighting food insecurity in local communities. At the 2025 Chicken Salad Chick franchisee conference, the brand presented CURE Childhood Cancer with a $330,000 check, which included funds raised through its annual Giving Card program and the Cookies for a CURE promotion.

“Cookies for a CURE is one of the most meaningful initiatives we do, and the incredible support from our guests has inspired us to raise the bar,” said Scott Deviney, President and CEO of Chicken Salad Chick. “With currently more than 310 restaurants in our network, we hope to make an even greater difference for the children and families impacted by childhood cancer. Our partnership with CURE remains a cornerstone of our mission to serve communities in the moments they need it most.”

The Lemon Burst Buttercream Cookie, a sweet tribute to the gold ribbon that symbolizes childhood cancer awareness, is topped with a natural lemon zest buttercream frosting. Proceeds from September cookie sales will go directly to CURE Childhood Cancer to fund vital research and patient support.

Join us at any Chicken Salad Chick location on Thursday, January 23 for a FREE SCOOP of Classic Carol on us. A free scoop will be gifted to every guest who comes into the restaurant for takeout, dine-in, and drive-thru, or added to every online and delivery order.
While supplies last. No purchase necessary when dining in. Limit one scoop per guest. Online orders will receive one scoop per entree.
That’s not all! For our Chicken Salad Chick Rewards members, it’s also Double Points Day for all purchases made on Thursday, January 23.

Southern Chicken Salad Eatery Sets Centerville Opening Date

Chicken Salad Chick will open the first Dayton eatery on Wed, December 18th.  Hours will be 10 am to 8 pm Monday through Saturday. The first 100 guests will  receive free chicken salad for a year. Chicken Salad Chick will be located in the Shoppes at Cornerstone IV.

An early arrival is highly recommended for guests seeking to be counted as one of the first 100. Each guest will be assigned a number corresponding to their place in line when they arrive by a member of the Chicken Salad Chick team beginning at 8 a.m.
The first 100 guests must remain in line until the restaurant opens and download the Chicken Salad Chick app. Wi-Fi will not be available on site.
Once the restaurant opens, guests will make a purchase of “The Chick” or anything of greater value and enter a code in the Chicken Salad Chick app to officially secure your spot.

Many Miami Valley residents have gotten to know this  fast-casual chicken salad restaurant through their pop-up events, hosted at Goldies Soft Serve in Centerville.

“We’ve seen strong community support and enthusiastic adoption of our brand in Ohio, and we’re excited to continue our expansion in the state,” said marketing manager Hannah Verdun. “We believe Dayton’s vibrant community will enjoy our wide variety of delicious chicken salad options, and we look forward to becoming a part of this growing area.”

Chicken Salad Chick has more than a dozen flavors of chicken salad made fresh from scratch daily. Customers can get anything from traditional, savory or spicy chicken salad to fruity or nutty chicken salad. Th most popular is the Classic Carol featuring all white meat shredded chicken, finely minced celery, mayonnaise and the brand’s secret seasoning.

The restaurant also has fresh sides, soups, salads and desserts, including a white chocolate layer cake.

We offer a variety of 12 delicious chicken salads, made from scratch in our store every day along with made-from-scratch egg salad and pimento cheese! You can also choose from our many different homemade side items as well as everything from pasta salad to grape salad! You can order any size of our to-go containers of chicken salad and freshly made sides! We also offer gallons of freshly brewed teas, lemonades, loaves of our amazing bread options, and delicious Cheryl’s cookies!!!

Follow these simple instructions to place your order! PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE read all directions carefully.
