GRAMMY® Award-winning ‘80s pop icon Rick Springfield will hit the road in 2019 for the Best In Show Summer Tour. Featuring support by very special guests Eddie Money and Greg Kihn, the tour will include a stop in Huber Heights, OH at Rose Music Center on Saturday, September 7th.
ABOUT RICK SPRINGFIELD
Over the past four decades, Rick Springfield has worn many hats as an entertainer and performer. The creator of some of the finest power-pop of the ’80s, a GRAMMY® Award-winning singer, songwriter, and musician who has sold 25 million albums and scored 17 U.S. Top 40 hits, including “Jessie’s Girl,” “Don’t Talk to Strangers,” “An Affair of the Heart,” “I’ve Done Everything for You,” “Love Somebody,” and “Human Touch.” He’s an accomplished actor who has starred opposite Meryl Streep in the feature film “Ricki and the Flash,” gave a chameleonic performance as the creepy Dr. Pitlor in HBO’s prestige drama “True Detective,” earned great reviews for his portrayal of Lucifer on the CW hit “Supernatural” and most recently played Pastor Charles on “American Horror Story.” In 2014, Springfield was honored with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, located around the corner from the first apartment he lived in when he first arrived in the U.S. from Australia in 1971. With a legendary career spanning over 40 years, Eddie Money has long-established himself as one of rock’s most beloved entertainers. After leaving his native Brooklyn for the Berkeley music scene in the 1970s, Money quickly rose to fame on the strength of a slew of successful albums and Top 40 hits including “Take Me Home Tonight,” “Shakin’,” “Think I’m In Love,” “Baby Hold On,” and many more. Money continues to tour across the country with his band, which includes three of his equally talented offspring who also appear with him currently along with the rest of his family in AXS network’s “Real Money” which is entering its second season.

As a pioneer with the legendary Beserkley Records, Greg Kihn helped write the book on revolutionary west coast rock and roll. He’s toured the world, had hit records, and has won several awards for his hit songs “Jeopardy”, “Break Up Song” and “Lucky”. Greg recently obtained the rights to all his old recordings and has re-released his entire catalogue. In support of these releases and his NEW album ReKihndled, the iconic San Francisco Bay area rocker, radio personality and author has been going out with the Greg Kihn Band across the country.
