Storybook Gala: A Night in the 100 Acre Wood

Sinclair Conference Center 301 W. Fourth Street, Dayton, OH

You are cordially invited to the first Storybook Gala benefiting A Special Wish Foundation of Southwest Ohio. We are excited to bring the magic and wonder that we infuse into the wishes we grant to you, our friends and supporters.

This year we will transport you into the childhood playground of Christopher Robin as you mingle with your friends in the English meadow and then dine and dance in the 100 acre wood. The adventure begins with cocktails at 6:30pm at the Sinclair conference center. Come dressed in garden party formal to support the amazing kids and families of A Special Wish Foundation.

Mad River School District’s Annual Spaghetti Fest

Stebbins High School 1900 Harshman Rd., Dayton

Hey, Mad River community! Mark your calendars for delicious meal at Stebbins High School Wednesday, March 6, 2024.

We are thrilled to invite you to our much-anticipated Annual Spaghetti Fest from 5 PM to 7 PM in the school’s cafeteria.
Get ready to indulge in a delectable Italian dinner lovingly prepared by none other than our Superintendent Wyen. The menu features spaghetti & meatballs, crisp salad, freshly baked bread, a variety of beverages, delightful desserts, and more!
Special Treat: ALL MAD RIVER STUDENTS EAT FREE! 🎉
For everyone else, tickets are super affordable:
$4 for adults
$3 for children and seniors (60 and over)
Tickets are available at the door or can be pre-purchased at our schools. Don’t miss out on this opportunity for a fantastic meal and the chance to support our student choirs, orchestra, and bands as they perform live, adding a magical soundtrack to your dining experience. 🎵🎷

Pickleball Tournament

First Baptish Church of New Lebanon 335 South Church Street, New Lebanon

Our Pickleball event is open to teams of any ages who will compete in a single-elimination tourament. Prizes valued over $200 will be awarded for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place teams.

Grab a partner and enjoy a fast-paced day of pickle ball for a good cause. All proceeds go toward camp fees for our 3rd – 12th graders.

First games begin at 11am and Championship game will be played at 4pm, approximately.

Matches will be best 2 out of 3 sets with rally scoring.

Food, drinks and tourney t-shirts will be available for purchase throughout the day.

Registration is $30 per team by Thursday, March 7. Registration is available online or in person. Day-of registration is $40 per team. Registration fees are non-refundable but are transferable to any team of your choosing.

An evening of Horse betting and fun! Place cash bets on the horses of your choice.
Races are run by video broadcasts. Raffles & betting
Proceeds benefit the GDAA Rent Foundation; a non-profit, charitable organization that provides rental assistance to GDAA members’ residents who are unable to pay their rent due to illness, family tragedy or unfortunate circumstances, in some cases preventing homelessness.
Only persons 21 and over are permitted to attend.  $25

With all of our fundraisers, we aim to gather financial energy to amplify the work that’s been happening inside the Temple’s walls. The list of things that your abundance could help us to manifest includes things like continuing our goal of divine worship and spiritual pursuits, sexual wellness & education, community offerings, Earth-based practices and reverence, feminine celebrations, and more! This also includes the much less sexy stuff like paying rent, maintenance & admin fees, but more than that – it’s about manifesting this next evolution of the Temple and leaning into pure possibility.

This Sassy Sarah Monroe Production features a host of amazing performers. The evening is sure to delight with the finest Burlesque performances!

Making Memories Team Presents: A Night of Champions & Advocacy

Presented in partnership with the Alzheimer’s Association, hear about the latest in research news, the 10 warning signs and heartfelt personal connections.

There is an $80.00 domation to attend, guests will be asked to make a donation to the Alzheimer’s Association to continue offering free programs and services in the Miami Valley area, as well as funding vital research that is giving families hope!

Registration for this event closes on March 17, 2024 or when sold out whichever comes first.

This event is in partnership with the Alzheimer’s Association Miami Valley Chapter and Sinclair Community College’s Office of Diversity. Thanks to the Dayton Foundation for managing donations made to this event!
