ZZ Top To Rock The Rose
ZZ Top is an American rock band formed in 1969 in Houston, Texas. For 51 years, the band comprised vocalist-guitarist Billy Gibbons, drummer Frank Beard and vocalist-bassist Dusty Hill, until Hill’s death in 2021. Rooted in blues, ZZ Top developed a signature sound based on Gibbons’ blues guitar style and Hill and Beard’s rhythm section. They are popular for their live performances, sly and humorous lyrics, and the similar appearances of Gibbons and Hill, who were rarely seen without their long beards, sunglasses, and hats.
Night Fever Bee Gees Tribute
For five decades – a time span more than any other group in pop history – the Bee Gees outwitted the international music scene with their incredible tenacity to remain current through all the eras of contemporary music. The close high harmonies of brothers Barry, Robin and Maurice Gibb made the Bee Gees one of the most impossible attractions to launch a salute to…..until “Night Fever”. The vocal matchings of Night Fever’s John Acosta, Joe Varga and Carm Castiglione create an eerie sense of seeing the brothers Gibb in concert. Night Fever is an all-Canadian cast from Ontario, backed by professional studio musicians, that captures the sound and look of the Bee Gees.

Tippapalooza Music Fest Is Saturday
To celebrate our 10th year we made an effort to bring back fan favorites who have played our festival to great success and helped to build the event into what it is today. Our headline act is Tippapalooza favorites Seth Canan & the Carriers returning for their third appearance on our stage. The Neo American Pioneers will be back for a repeat of their stellar 2018 performance. Sadbox will be bringing their raucous brand of rock and roll to Tippapalooza for a second time. And although The Boxcar Suite will be making their first appearance, their leader Tim Pritchard, is a veteran of our festival having played here in 2018 as a member of Shrug.

Sound Valley Summer Music is Today!
“I think we’re all starving for connection and music is a powerful vehicle to bring people together” Zac Pitts, co-owner of Sound Valley said. “Live music came to a screeching halt when the pandemic started and I think the world realized just how much we took the experience for granted. Music just helps you feel better, especially when it’s live and in the moment”.
A portion of the event’s proceeds will benefit The Greater Dayton Brain Health Foundation. The organization helps provide counsel and financial support to ensure ready access to brain health services, delivery of effective brain health treatment and support services, and collaboration among systems impacting people with a brain illness.
The event also aims to bring the community together for a day long celebration of people who make music in the local area. The music festival will feature 13 local bands including: Jetty Bones, Nightbeast, The Raging Nathans, K. Carter, Freakquency, Business Casuals, Nasty Bingo, The Luv Loss Experiment, Speaking Suns, Bundy & The Spins, Jeremy Street, Gabe Maas & The Bruins and All Hallowed.
“This event is meant to connect those who want to continue taking Dayton’s music scene to the next level.” Pitts said. “There will be two stages (both outdoor) vendors and food trucks throughout the day to keep hungry fans happy!”
Tickets are $20 in advance with an opportunity to save even more when you purchase couples or group tickets! Gates open at 4pm with music starting at 4:30pm.
