Kettering’s newest restaurant opened this weekend at 1980 E Whipp Rd in the location that was formerly McGillicutty’s Pub from 1996- 2o18. It’s a family business run by Arsim and Tina Aliu and other members of their family, which will be serving up lunch and dinner Tuesday through Sunday.
The inside of the restaurant has been opened up with the old bar that dominated McGillicutty’s gone. Tables were Covid 19 spaced to over 6 feet apart with booths lining the outer walls. We were told sound system and tv’s will be installed next week.
Featuring appetizers like meatballs and sausages, and garlic rolls, a variety of pizzas, pastas and calzones, the menu prices are quite reasonable and the serving sizes are quite large. Serving up Coke products, the liquor license has been applied for and they are just awaiting state approval.
