Blue Berry Cafe Offering Free Meal For Furloughed Workers

Blue Berry Cafe owner Kelley Andary has one of the biggest hearts in the business.  Here’s the latest example of this, she posted on Facebook:

“One of my best friends works at WPAFB. She is also a single mom to a spunky and sweet little girl. I check in with her about once a week. She is being super smart with her money and budgeting like crazy…but i can hear the stress in her voice…super hard as she tries to not to let her daughter know what is going on.
She just started dipping into her savings to pay for things. 😔
So I talked to the staff and we thought…what can we do for our friends?!?
Well, While it may not be much…we feel a meal made and packaged with love is a perfect way for us to “do something. ”And with that, we would like to offer a free meal prepared by our very own Chef Jaime and Staff.
Our first meal will be available for pick up starting on Wednesday, November 5th and offered until we give them all away!
Just come in to our Kettering location and see the hosts…tell them you would like ___adult and ___kids meals and they will bring them right out to you!
*please one meal per person so that we can share with as many as possible
The pre-packaged meals will be in microwaveable containers and are at no cost.”
After many comments on the above Facebook post from folks wanting to help they’ve share their Venmo: @BlueBerryCafe
It will use only to help pay for groceries and take out containers and other community projects. But, also…please just keep coming to the cafe and being our customer 💕🫐🤩

Famed Restaurant Famil to Celebrate Golden Anniversary

The Blue Berry Cafe is going to celebrate their Golden Anniversary – FIFTY YEARS of owning and operating restaurants in the Miami Valley!!!

They have put together a 6 course meal, paired with 5 wines (optional) for Sunday, April 27th at The Blueberry Cafe in Bellbrook.

Since 1975, the family has owned and operated a total of 5 restaurants in the Miami Valley!
The Barnsider Restaurant (1975-2016) The Wellington Grille (1998-2022)
The Blue Berry Cafe Bellbrook (est 2004)
Harrison’s Restaurant (est. 2005)
The Blue Berry Cafe Kettering (est 2024)
They will share the the menu in a couple of weeks and it will featuring FAVORITE dishes from each of their restaurants !
Note* While the menu will not be Gluten Free, we can and will make the dinner GF by request!

Blue Berry Cafe To Open Wed, Feb 21st

The official opening of The Blue Berry Cafe Kettering at 2932 S. Dixie Drive will be Wednesday, February 21st at 7am.
You can do 30 minute call ahead seating, or place a reservation for groups of 7 to 12 people at 37-723-7917
They also have a dedicated line for Take Out Orders

They are still waiting on equipment to offer more lunch offerings (expected early March) so until then, they will be focusing on breakfast for now.

2nd Location Announced for The Blue Berry Cafe!

Just got off the phone with the Muffin Man, who confirmed The Blue Berry Cafe will be taking over the Golden Nugget space as well as moving their Bellbrook location across the street!
He couldn’t confirm timelines- but look for the opening soon on Dixie.
He also confirmed that the Bellbrook move across the street is still happening, and that time line is waiting on the completion of the construction team.  The last day of business is scheduled for Friday, January 19th, 2024 at the original location and they will be open 7 days a week until then.

On Tuesday, December 19th – we were told that a fella from Winsupply had asked to meet me with me and Ray. With our guards up we walked over there and introduced ourselves to Moraine City Manager, Mike Davis and Bill Tolliver, VP of Real Estate Services and In House Counsel for Winsupply.
We told him we knew that they bought the Golden Nugget Building and that we thought that was amazing of them to do that for the area!
He asked if we would be interested in putting a location there – we said – oh
My goodness, that is such a nice compliment – truly – but we have all of our savings going into our new location across the street – AND we will never leave Bellbrook! But thank you!
He said, no, I don’t want you to ever leave Bellbrook either- I live in Bellbrook! We want you to add a second location! Listen – it doesn’t hurt to just look! All you have to do is bring the groceries 🤩
We met at the Kettering restaurant the next day. Ray and I didn’t sleep all night – texting back and forth – We told Bill, our answer is yes and that we have two options, either warp speed and get this open asap or we need to wait until Summer after we open the Bellbrook location and have our routine down….Bill said, let’s do Warp Speed!
We have been treated like restaurant royalty by the Winsupply Family and while there has been tears – a lot of tapping Bill on the shoulder to make sure he is real, we are so excited for this opportunity!
While we have had multiple restaurants in the Dayton Area since 1975 – none of them have ever had the same concept. We are excited to take this journey. Our Bellbrook staff is our first priority – we will be working hard to make sure they still have a paycheck coming in the next few weeks as we move forward. So please eat pancakes! 🤩🫐
It’s been a busy 2 weeks since Bill Tolliver walked into our cafe! And we are so grateful!

The Blue Berry Cafe To Open Mondays For The Summer

The Blue Berry Cafe in Bellbrook has just announced they are opening on Monday’s from 8am – 2pm starting July 17- August 14th. Adding Monday’s will mean they will be open seven days a week for breakfast and lunch! Known for their huge pancakes, Belgian waffles and their omelet platters, this beloved restaurant is also often packed and the addition of one more day may help customers get in to dine.

Don’t forget to take advantage of their  30 minute call ahead seating! Call  30 minutes  prior to your arrival and they will get you started on our waitlist!
They also take reservations for groups of 6-14 people! They also have a private room, the Blue Room,  you can rent that seats up to 20 guests.

Bellbrook’s favorite breakfast spot, The Blue Berry Cafe,  now has a private room that can be booked for parties of up to 20.  You can host a breakfast or lunch, a business meeting or even a baby or wedding shower.
