Big Brothers Big Sisters Miami Valley makes meaningful, monitored matches between adult volunteers and youth, ages 6 through 18, in communities across the region. We develop positive relationships that have a direct and lasting effect on the lives of young people.

Here’s your chance to support Big Brothers Big Sisters and also have a chance to win a bourbon barrel bar with LED and 5 bottles of recommended bourbon.

Purchase your tickets now for a shot at winning a one-of-a-kind bourbon barrel bar package, complete with 5 top shelf bourbons along with a custom backlit bourbon barrel bar. 100% of the proceeds from ticket sales go to Big Brothers Big Sisters.

Bourbon Raffle to Benefit Humane Society

Bourbon Development has partnered with the Humane Society of Greater Dayton for a bourbon-themed fundraiser that’s sure to delight both bourbon enthusiasts and animal lovers alike.

Only 200 tickets at $20 each will be up for grabs, and each ticket gives you a chance to win one of six carefully selected bourbon bottles. These bottles have been curated to offer a diverse and unique tasting experience, showcasing some of the finest bourbons available. Winner drawn Nov 9th.

About the Humane Society of Greater Dayton

The Humane Society of Greater Dayton is the Miami Valley’s largest no-kill animal welfare agency that started in 1902. The local 501(c)(3) nonprofit is not affiliated with any other organizations on a local or national level and does not receive any government funding. The animal shelter is a 4-star charity and is solely funded by donations and grants. The Humane Society of Greater Dayton works with all domestic animals including dogs, cats, rabbits, birds, reptiles, hamsters and even horses, goats and pigs. The nonprofit not only adopts out thousands of animals each year and provides low cost veterinary services to the community but also is the only animal shelter with licensed humane agents working 7 days per week making sure pets are safe in the community.

Little Exchange Hosts Bourbon Tasting & Raffle

The Little Exchange Fine Gifts is a nonprofit boutique at 45 Park Ave. in Oakwood that has been operating since 1950.   Staffed by almost 90 volunteers, the shop has donated nearly $1.7 million to Dayton Children’s Hospital over its 70+ years of existence. The Little Exchange is known for perfect bridal and baby gifts, infant clothing, unique décor for the home, and men’s and women’s gifts for all occasions. The shop also offers complimentary gift wrap and free local delivery. Shop hours are Monday – Friday from 10am – 5pm and Saturday from 10am – 3pm.

The Little Exchange is doing a bourbon raffle to help raise additional funds for Dayton Children’s.  The winner will walk away with eight bottles of hard to find Blanton’s Bourbon.   Each bottle top is mounted with a horse and jockey in a progressive horse race. They come in 8 different varieties that, when arranged in succession, spell out BLANTON’S. You may purchase your $50 ticket for a chance to win 8 bottle’s of Blanton’s online or at the shop.

 

 

Just prior to drawing the winner on September 16th, at 5:30pm, The Little Exchange will host a bourbon tasting with 4 whiskeys to taste, set up in stations around the shop. The tasting list is not public yet, but we were told that Blanton’s will not be one of the options.  There is no charge for this tasting, but an RSVP is requested at 937-299-1561.  At the conclusion of the tasting the winner will be drawn on at 7pm.
