Do You Make Award Winning Chili?
If you consider yourself a chili connoisseur, Bellbrook Park District wants you to put your recipe to the test by entering in their 3rd Annual Chilly Weather, Chili Cook-Off!

Attendees can taste and vote for their favorite chili, or just spend time with family and friends. There will be a $1 per cup associated with tasting the chili to help raise money for the Family Resource Center in Bellbrook; otherwise it is free to be a part of the festivities. After chowing down take a quick hike on the wooded trail in the Gooding Addition (adjacent to the park headquarters).
To become a chili competitor or volunteer contact the park district for details. Chili champion will be awarded the “Cheesy Chili Trophy” and bragging rights until next winter! Chili Competitors need to pre-register no later than 1/24 (the Wednesday before the cook-off) and spots are limited to the first 14 competitors. Volunteers will get up to 3 free tastes.
The Chili champion as crowned by the public will be awarded the “Cheesy Chili Trophy” and bragging rights until 2019!

Star City Brewing Chili Cook Off Tonight
Tonight at 6pm Miamisburg brewery Star City is hosting a Chilli Cook Off. Bring your best chili recipe down and let the public vote which one they like best. Winner will receive a special gift from the brewery: One free room rental for either the Mill, Heritage, or Peerless Room. (A $750 value) Host a business party, a family gathering, or a game night with your friends. What you do with it is up to you.
Voters will need to purchase tickets to vote for the chili they like the best. “One Ticket, One Taste, One Dollar.” Meaning, If you see three chilis you want to try, spend three dollars to try all three. Get three tickets to vote of the ones you like best. All proceeds will be donated to “Blessings In a Bag – Miamisburg”
Bellbrook Hosts Chili Cook Off
Everyone is welcome to attend this event, but if you consider yourself a chili connoisseur, we dare you to put your recipe to the test by entering in our 1st Annual Chili Cook-Off.
Attendees can taste and vote for their favorite chili, or just spend time with family and friends. The park district will also be having guided walks through our wooded trail, so you can first enjoy the chilly weather outside and then enjoy the warm chili inside. There will be a small fee associated with tasting the chili to help raise money for the Family Resource Center in Bellbrook, otherwise it is free to be a part of the festivities. Volunteers will get free tastes.

All The Chili You Can Eat!
This Friday the South Dayton Chapter of AMBUCS, a national charity that helps people with disabilites, will host it’s 25th annual Chili Festival and Casino Night at Polen Farms in Kettering. Your $16 ticket includes as much chili as you can stomach, $8 in drink tickets, live music by Corky’s Old Time Rock and Roll and Las Vegas style casino games, bingo and door prizes, too!

Guests will vote for the Best Chili! Get your advance tickets online for $16 or pick up at the gate for $20. Event runs from 6 -11pm.
