Roadtrip: Cincinnati Zoo After Dark

Ever wondered what the Cincinnati Zoo is like after hours? The gates are shut, the lights are down, and everyone has gone home for the day. It’s time to discover the Zoo after dark!It’s time to discover the Zoo after dark!

A truly one-of-a-kind experience, these overnights make a great date night, friend group outing, or adult adventure (over 21 only)!

An interactive social hour will start the night with two drink tickets, light bites, strange zoo games, and a visit from a unique animal. Then, we will break out into small tour groups led by Zoo Educators to traverse through Africa. On our Zoo safari, we will go behind the scenes of Hippo Cove and uncover the secrets of our world-famous bloat. We’ll finish up our night at our Twiga Tents, gathered around a roaring campfire roasting s’mores. Then, this unique adventure ends with a relaxing night in our safari tents on cozy cots and waking up to breakfast overlooking Giraffe Ridge. And it doesn’t end there! One last special animal guest will join us in the morning to say goodbye.

Roadtrip: Jack O’ Lantern Glow at The Cincinnati Zoo

Jack O’ Lantern Glow is an immersive walkthrough experience with more than 5,000 hand-carved pumpkins and fall displays along a half-mile trail in the Zoo, making it the largest of its kind in the Tri-state area! Experience the grandeur of fall at the Cincinnati Zoo, as it transforms into a mesmerizing wonderland of illuminated jack o’lanterns, breathtaking displays, and special effects that elevate your autumn nights to extraordinary heights. Fritz & Fiona’s Sundae Fundae at the Zoo

On Sunday, July 30th from 6 -8pm the Cincinnati Zoo is hosting  Fritz & Fiona’s Sundae Fundae Fundraiser. Tickets for this event run $30, and can be purchased online.  Zoo members get discounted tickets.

This sweet event offers a double-dip of Fritz & Fiona and delicious Graeter’s ice cream.  Fritz & Fiona’s Sundae Fundae will take you around the Zoo for an ice cream sampling where you will be able to see some of your favorite animals enjoying their outdoor habitats after hours.

As you wander through the Zoo, sample delicious Graeter’s Ice Cream at stations around the Zoo! Guests also get free train and carousel rides during this event!

 

 

 

Upon arrival, guests will receive their Graeter’s Ice Cream passport to show for a scoop at each of the 6 sampling stations.

From 6:00pm – 8:00pm you’ll walk around the Cincinnati Zoo for an ice cream sampling where you will be able to see some of your favorite animals enjoying their outdoor habitats after hours.

Upon arrival, guests will receive their Graeter’s Ice Cream passport to show the way to 6 sampling stations located across the zoo.
