The Montgomery County Volunteer Reception Center is now open! The VRC registers individuals who wish to volunteer, documenting their talents, skills and resources, so they can be matched to organizations with specific volunteer needs.
Location: Sinclair Community College, Building 20 – 220 South Edwin C Moses (Entrance on 5th Street)

6/2/2019: Monday and Tuesday (6/3 and 6/3) The Foodbank drive thru will be open from 8a-4p. Water, food, and supplies will be available for those in need. 56 Armor Place Dayton, 45417
Volunteers needed sorting and organizing supplies starting at 9am tomorrow morning at Warped Wing. Could use help loading and dispersing supplies as well. I’m guessing until at least 11 or 12.
Hey everyone the Huber Heights Police Dept has ask Dayton PD and the Montgomery County Sheriffs Office to join them in an effort to feed all of the power line men/women that has come into our town to help get our community back up and running. If any one would like to join in on this relief effort, we could use trucks, coolers, and willing body’s to help get the food prepared and out to approx 600 workers. If you would like to help please come out to our lodge hall tomorrow Monday 03, 2019 at 4275 Powell Rd Huber Heights Oh. We will be getting started about 0930am. Please come out and help show your appreciation for all the time and effort these folks has put into our community. [not sure how long this effort is going on for]

We’ll be making large tote bags at the Dayton Sewing Collaborative this week. They’re made out of heavy-duty industrial fabric that will last a long time. we’ll be there from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m. We’re planning to do this M-Th this week.
NOTE: Trotwood Shiloh Springs/Salem requested cloth bags or baskets
Trotwood – Weddington Road off Shiloh Springs. Just park and dive in. Or go to Trotwood high school and they will shuttle you to the areas needing help.
DONATIONS NEEDED at various locations- no water please
– pop top canned goods (if people don’t have electricity traditional canned goods can be difficult for them to open)
- snack food
- water and sports drinks (sports drinks are helpful for people working to clear debris or pack up property)
- batteries (AA, AAA, and D for flashlights and radios so people can hear the news in areas without cell service due to towers being destroyed by tornadoes)
- hygiene products (toilet paper, unscented tampons, soap, hand sanitizer, toothbrushes, and toothpaste)
- baby products (diapers, pull up training pants, wipes, ready made formula, and baby food)
- adult diapers
