World Refugee Day Celebration This Saturday
Welcome Dayton will honor and recognize Dayton’s refugee community by celebrating World Refugee Day on Saturday, June 30. The event will be held at Grace United Methodist Church, 1001 Harvard Blvd., from 11 am to 3 pm, with free admission.
It will include performances from Burundian, Sudanese, pan-African youth, Vietnamese and other groups, there will be food “tasting stations” from 5 different countries, Khmericano Coffee in the afternoon, performances, children’s activities, and an international fashion show!
