New Deal Website Pops Up

Xooker is a mobile app created for you to earn rewards while saving money at your favorite local restaurants and shops. Based in Lexington, Ky they now operate in 19 market they’ve recently rolled out here in Dayton.

Download Xooker for the App Store or Google Play and start saving today! The deals are mainly set up with a 40-70% discount, so when you pay $10 or $12 you get a $20 value to spend at the restaurant. You’ll need to register your account with an email and your zip code. The deals are downloaded to your Xooker Wallet to use when you are ready. There are often additional deals on the site you can take advantage. Currently those include 15% of at Dublin Pub, Franco’s or El Rancho Grande-Brown street, a free drink at Cedarland Bakery, a free appetizer at The Barrel. You can even play games to earn points for rewards. Xooker is a mobile and digital one stop shop to find deals for local restaurant and merchants with a daily deal each day with promotions that you’ll get emailed out to you.

There’s even a charity component to Xooker, which is free for booster clubs and nonprofits to raise $ for their teams. They can register their club and have access to schedule a dine to donate event at local restaurant. They’ll get sent a local marketing kit, and have an option to upload all their members – to get an email about the event, an automatic reminder and and a text a few hours before the event!

Veterans Day Free Meals & Deals 2016

Veterans Day is a time for us to pay our respects to those who have served. This holiday started as a day to reflect upon the heroism of those who died in our country’s service, and was originally called Armistice Day. It fell on Nov. 11 because that is the anniversary of the signing of the Armistice that ended World War I. However, in 1954, the holiday was changed to “Veterans Day” in order to account for all veterans in all wars.

Veterans day is just around the corner and many of our area eateries are providing dining deals to salute our service men and women. O’Charley’s

O’Charley’s will honor our military on Veterans Day 2016 by offering veterans and active duty service members a free meal at any location on November 11th. Additionally, O’Charley’s offers a 10 percent military discount all year long.

Olive Garden
The restaurant is offering one free entree to active-duty and military veterans from a special menau of six of the most popular items. Entrees are served with unlimited homemade soup or famous house salad and warm, garlic breadsticks.

Restaurant Week Extended at 30 Locations

It happened once before in 2009, when the weather was so bad that the turnout for restaurant week wasn’t what was expected, so they added a second week. For years a handful of the participating eateries have carried their dining deals over, so their regulars can enjoy without the crowds. This winters frigid weather seems to have affected the early week of 3 course meal deals enough that 30 area dining establishments have committed to carry the $20.14, $25.14 and $30.14 specials for one more week.
