Sonic’s  $1.99 Menu

Is your dining budget feeling challenged this summer? Sonic’s  $1.99 menu gives you lots of affordable dining options.  It  feature its Queso Wraps in both Bacon Ranch and Southwest Crunch flavors, French Toast Sticks, Groovy Fries, and floats made with Coca-Cola, Dr Pepper, Barq’s Root Beer, or Fanta. Sonic also added the  Jr. Chicken Sandwiches in both Original and Honey Chipotle flavors for just $1.99. It’s also good to know that many area Sonic’s serve from 8am – midnight. So

In addition to the refreshed $1.99 menu, Sonic has also changed some of its sauces—and added two new ones.

Sonic is changing its Ranch, Honey Mustard, and BBQ Sauce to make them more flavorful and bolder, as well as adding two new sauces to menus: Jalapeño Ranch and Asian-Style Sweet Chili

The Jalapeño Ranch is a creamy ranch sauce with herbs and a hint of spicy green jalapeño, while the Asian-Style Sweet Chili is a sweet-and-spicy sauce made with soy, sesame, garlic, and ginger.

Meanwhile, the “Fun.99 Menu” will be “here to stay” at Sonic’s over 3,500 restaurants “all day, every day,” the Inspire Brands-owned Sonic said.

Orange Cloudsicle Slush Float Now at Sonic

Sonic is kicking off the 2024 summer season with the debut of the new Orange Cloudsicle Slush Float.

The Orange Cloudsicle Slush Float is a new spin on a summer classic and features the sweet and tangy flavor of orange cloudsicle flavored slush loaded with orange vanilla flavor bubbles and topped with a sweet, creamy cloud of soft serve and even more orange vanilla flavor bubbles.

The Orange Cloudsicle Slush Float will be available at participating locations nationwide for a suggested priced $3.99 for a medium through June 30, 2024, or while supplies last.

Sonic introduced their Under $2 Craves menu concept this past December and and have just introduced a new Under $3 Craves menu.

The Under $2 Craves menu include:

  • Jr. Cheeseburger: A Jr beef patty, ketchup, mustard, pickles and a cheese slice on a lightly toasted plain bun for $1.99
  • Fritos Chili Cheese Jr. Wrap: Chili and melted cheddar cheese are all wrapped up in a warm flour tortilla for $149.
  • Oreo Cookie & Chocolate Sweet Mini Sundae: A mini sundae topped with Oreo Cookie Pieces and Chocolate Syrup for $1.99.
  • Snickers Bars & Caramel Sweet Mini Sundae: A mini sundae topped with Snickers Bars Pieces & Caramel Syrup for $1.99.

And now Sonic has introduced a Under $3 Craves menu, you can enjoy the following select menu items for $2.99 each:

  • Quarter Pound Double Cheeseburger: Two 100 percent pure beef, seasoned patties layered with two slices of melty American cheese, pickles, ketchup, and mustard on a golden, toasted bun.
  • Chicken Slinger: 100 percent all-white meat chicken, crinkle-cut pickles and creamy mayonnaise all served on a warm brioche bun.
  • Chili Cheese Coney: An all-beef hot dog topped with warm chili and melty cheddar cheese served in a soft, warm bakery bun.

Just keep in mind that when ordering online, the discount will be applied at checkout.

Sonic Introduces New Big Dill Cheeseburger And New Pickle Fries

Sonic has introduced the  Big Dill Cheeseburger and new Pickle Fries starting May 2, but if you’ve got the Sonic App you can try it starting April 25, 2022.  These new menu items are slated to stick around  through June 26, 2022,

The new Big Dill Cheeseburger features a 100 percent pure seasoned beef patty stacked with crispy pickle fries, crinkle-cut pickle slices, a creamy dill-infused ranch sauce, chopped lettuce, and melty American cheese, all layered on a toasted brioche bun.

New Pickle Fries are a twist on traditional fried pickles, featuring dill pickle spears cut in a fry shape, coated in a light tempura coating and fried up until crispy. They come served with a side of ranch sauce for dipping.

App users can also try The Big Dill Cheeseburger for half price when ordering online or in the Sonic App starting May 2, 2022.

Pucker up! Sonic’s Pickle Juice Slush debutsMonday!

Sonic’s news Pickle Juice Slush will hit drive-thru’s at all of its U.S. locations starting Monday, June 11th.

The pickle-flavored slushies will be joined by three other  classic snow cone flavors including Bahama Mama, Blue Hawaiian, Tiger’s Blood for a limited summer release.  SONIC’s icy-cold and colorful Snow Cone Slushes will give guests the ultimate taste of summer in a sippable, slurpable delight

When these menu additions were announced, Food & Wine was granted the opportunity to test the pickle-infused frozen drinks back in March. The outlet reported it tested the drink at Sonic’s headquarters in Oklahoma City.

” …  it’s surprisingly delicious (and makes a good accompaniment to burgers and/or tots and/or corn dogs.),” Food & Wine said in its review.

“Sweet and tangy, the bright brine compensates for the over-savoriness you might have been worried about. You won’t understand why, but you’ll keep going back for more sips, likely until it’s all gone,” wrote Food and Wine magazine’s Maria Yagoda, who added that she found the drink a tad too sugary for her liking.

To celebrate the Pickle Juice and other Snow Cone Slushes, SONIC is releasing a Snapchat lens that transforms users into an icy-cold Pickle Juice Slush world for a limited time from June 11 through July 29.

The only-at-SONIC Pickle Juice Slush, along with the rest of the Snow Cone Slush flavors, can be enjoyed starting June 11 for half-price during happy hour and are customizable with any fruit add-ins such as lemon, strawberry, lime and pineapple or candy add-ins such as Popping Candy and NERDS® while supplies last.

Sonic Summer Nights 1/2 Price Shakes

Sonic Drive In has just introduced a new line up of  Cookie Jar Shakes for a limited time only.  Sonic is calling them “the perfect marriage of cookies and real ice cream.”

Cookie Jar Shakes are half-price after 8pm every night during the Sonic Summer Nights event.  Here’s the line-up:

 

  • Nutter Butter Banana Cookie Jar Shake – Our Real Ice Cream with a sweet banana flavor, blended with Nutter Butter® cookie pieces, finished with a whipped topping and a cherry.
