Inspired by Blumhouse’s supernatural horror film Five Nights at Freddy’s 2, this first-ever, one-of-a-kind menu collaboration is available starting November 17 at participating U.S. Popeyes restaurants. Silos Food Hall Welcomes New Vendor Whitney Kling

The Silos Food Hall & Bar is delighted to announce the addition of Fête, a vibrant new concept from local chef and entrepreneur Whitney Kling, founder of the former Top Knot Kitchen.

Fête — meaning “party” in French — brings the same colorful, flavor-forward food that made Top Knot Kitchen a Dayton favorite, now with even more heart, soul, and variety. The menu will highlight Fête’s beloved bowls, salads, and sauces, alongside signature new dishes such as pumpkin chickpea curry and enchiladas verdes. Guests can look forward to a menu designed for everyone — featuring vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free options — celebrating mealtime as a moment of joy, flavor, and connection.

“Our food is for everyone who thinks mealtime should be a celebration of flavors, satisfaction, and ease,” says Kling. “Fête is about making food that brings people together and feels like a party every day.”

This announcement marks the exciting addition of Fête to the growing lineup of local food vendors at The Silos Food Hall & Bar, located at 810 E 1st St, Dayton, OH 45402. Rod Stewart’s One Last Time Tour Coming to Riverbend

The newly added dates kick off in March and will include a stop in Cincinnati, OH at Riverbend Music Center on Sunday, August 9. Richard Marx will join as special guest.

Noises Off Opens at Dayton Playhouse

Get ready for non-stop laughter as Dayton Playhouse presents Noises Off by Michael Frayn, directed by Allyson Jacob! Often called “the funniest farce ever written,” this backstage comedy is a fast-paced, door-slamming, perfectly-timed whirlwind of hilarity.

The show will run Fri – Sun, Nov 7-9 and again Nov 14 – 16.  Friday and Saturday Shows are at 8pm and Sunday matinees start at 2pm.  Tickets run $18-20 and can be purchased online.

Fall Shigfest (Run/Walk)

Hash Trail: What a great park to hash!!! Expect beautiful Fall scenery! You’ll immerse yourself in a kaleidoscope of Fall season foliage as you gleefully hash through Shiggyland. Trail is medium length A to B. Lots of hills and new territory that we never hashed before. We’ll ferry people back to the cars.

Hashing in General: This is a fun run or hike where you will follow a trail of flour not knowing exactly where it will lead. One or more beer/water stops along the way! In hashing you’ll will be running/walking as part of a group. The faster runners will be out ahead looking for flour marks on the ground trying to figure out which way the trail route goes. Sometimes they go the wrong way which allows the slower runners/walkers to catch up and even get ahead. This allows everyone to go at their own pace and stay together as a group.

Dogs: Allowed in Metropark, but a leash is required. Since trail is mostly in the woods it won’t be easy to keep the leash untangled.

Children: Adults only for first-time hashers, since many of us do drink beer. 😋 Otherwise 18+. Be aware due to the nature of the terrain young kids will have difficulty.
