It’s a great honor that we have the opportunity to pay homage to the Dayton Triangles with this special edition Trotwood Lager can!”

Warped Wing Brewing Co. is a Dayton craft brewery inspired by Ohio’s rich history of innovation and invention. We are committed to carrying that spirit forward by brewing new proprietary beer styles along with original “warped” interpretations.
Warped Wing Brewing Company to Open North of Dayton
Warped Wing Brewing Company, headquartered in the heart of Downtown Dayton, Ohio, is excited to announce plans for a new Brewery and Taproom location in Huber Heights! Planned to open in Spring/Summer 2023, the new location at 6602 Executive Boulevard in Huber Heights will feature a large taproom with outdoor biergarten, warehouse & production space, private event space with small pilot brewing system and food menu focused on smoked foods similar to the Springboro & Mason taprooms. Seating capacity is 127 in the main taproom, 48 in the event space, and 104 in the outdoor biergarten.

“Huber Heights has a great community of craft beer fans. During the pandemic we delivered more beer via our home delivery program to Huber Heights than any other community. We are forever grateful for their support during that difficult time and so opening this new brewery at The Heights means so much to our team” said Nick Bowman, co-founder and VP of Sales and Marketing. “Huber Heights is definitely a community on the move and we are very excited to be a part of it” said Bowman.
“We are planning on adding a pilot brewing system at our new location in Huber Heights” said John Haggerty, co-founder and Brewmaster at Warped Wing. “The flexibility of having multiple systems allows us more opportunity to experiment and create unique offerings exclusive to our taprooms” said Haggerty.
“We are very excited to continue our partnership with Warped Wing Brewing Company and work with them on their new Huber Heights location” said Jerad Barnett, President & CEO at Synergy & Mills Development. “With the proximity to the growth in northern Huber Heights and the Rose Music Center area as well as fantastic visibility from I-70 and land for additional growth in the future, we believe this is the perfect site for Warped Wing’s fourth location and look forward to beginning construction soon and opening this facility in the spring of 2023.” said Barnett.
In addition to Warped Wing’s vast selection of beers available, the taproom will also serve a variety of beverages including wine, seltzer, hard cider, and spirits with a focus on specialty cocktails as well as non-alcoholic options like housemade sodas.
Construction is set to begin this Fall and is expected to be completed in Spring of 2023. More details to be released as plans for the new Huber Heights location develop.
Killer New Collaboration Beer From Warped Wing.
A culinary meld of craft goodness. You will get aromas of deep, rich chocolate up front. Followed up with sips of chocolate, caramel, vanilla and molasses. It’s like a brownie in liquid form. And it’s killer.

Warped Wing Sets Opening Date for Mason Location

Brewmaster & Managing Partner John Haggerty is also looking forward to the new space opening in Mason. “I am looking forward to working on some collaboration beers with our fellow Masonians! We already have something in the pipeline with Sonder, a Hoppy Red Rye Ale, and am looking forward to getting together with the other guys in town. It will be great to rub elbows with these guys and be able to learn how they think about beer” said Haggerty. The Sonder collaboration beer, Ryesing Tides, will be on tap for the Grand Opening.

A Third Warped Wing Location Announced
Warped Wing Brewing Company, headquartered in Downtown Dayton, Ohio, is excited to announce plans for a new Brewery and Taproom location
in Mason, Ohio at 5650 Tylersville Rd (at the corner of 42 and Tylersville Rd). Warped Wing Mason is planned to open in Fall 2021. The 13,000 square foot facility will boast a large taproom with outdoor biergarten, small pilot brewing system, and eventually a flexible event space. Initially, there will be a focus on opening the main dining area and patio space, with expanded seating and private rental options to be developed at a later time.

“This new site has a rich history in the Mason community and the building itself has such a unique story. We want to pay homage to that history while bringing some new life to the space,” said Nick Bowman, co-founder and VP of Sales and Marketing. “We are excited to join the Mason community and be part of its growing brewery scene,” said Bowman.
“Our plan is to put a small pilot brewing system into the Rathskeller (basement) of the building. The size is TBD as we have not yet finished contracting it. I believe we are going to focus on making “high gravity” or stronger beers on it, allowing us to focus on other styles at the Springboro plant,” said John Haggerty, co-founder and Brewmaster. “Having said that, there really are no rules and we will make what makes sense at the time at either location. In the end, it just gives us that much more flexibility in what we do on the pilot systems,” said Haggerty.
The new facility will not only feature a small pilot brewing system, beers on tap, 6pk cans and bottles to go, but will also offer a full service dining experience similar to that of the Warped Wing Barrel Room & Smokery located in Springboro, Ohio.
“Our food program getting started will focus on smoked meats. We do traditional BBQ with classic housemade sides inspired by BBQ all over the country but we are not just a BBQ place as we are constantly experimenting with other ways to use smoked meats in non-traditional ways, from tacos to poutine. We have a focus on scratch-made sides and the highest quality ingredients,” said Erin O’Neill, Culinary Director & General Manager of Retail Operations. O’Neill adds, “One of my favorite things about our culinary program is how each location takes on its
own personality over time and we get to express that personality through our food specials and seasonal menu changes. From our signature bison bacon burger and our smoked wings, to our unique appetizers, sandwiches, salads, and tacos, we truly feel we have something for everyone.”’
With a unique focus on smoked and beer-infused foods, the new taproom will bring an exciting menu to complement Warped Wing’s robust beer selection. Other libations available in the Taproom will include hard cider, wine, and a spirits menu with a focus on specialty cocktails, as well as non-alcoholic options like mocktails and housemade sodas.
Warped Wing is now in the process of posting and interviewing for positions at the new Warped Wing Mason location. Please visit warpedwing.com/careers for more information.
Warped Wing To Launch Bottled Soda Brand

The launch of the new soda brand will coincide with a partnership with Graeter’s Ice Cream. The Dayton area Graeter’s Ice Cream shops will have bottles of root beer available for carryout as well as a special root beer float package available for delivery the following week. Additional venues for this collaboration are still in development, such as a “Movie Night” inspired float where families can enjoy a night on the lawn at Wright Station across from the Barrel Room & Smokery. Our First Impressions of Warped Wing Barrel Room & Smokery
We first wrote about the opening of Warped Wings newest spot that opens Saturday to the public.
But one of the cool perks we get at DaytonDining is being invited to pre-openings of some of the areas restaurants, breweries, bakeries and distilleries.

The logo hangs on the wall in the private function room.
Today we headed to the the new Warped Wing Barrel Room & Smokery in Springboro. Nicole Marie, Bryan Suddith and I visited this afternoon and all three of share our first impressions:

Nicole Marie
Nicole:
I’m looking forward to bringing friends to this new location! The addition of their curated cocktail menu is a great touch. While Warped Wing is known for their beer, the option for something different should make this location a must-visit. I tried the – the Ole Hickory Shandy and The Panther were pretty tasty.- Oyo Vanilla Bean Vodkea, hickory smoked simply syrup, fresh lemon and pineapples juices topped with Trotwood Lager and The Panther- Stillwrights Light run, coconut liqueur, blue cuacao, pineapple juice, fresh squeezed lime juice topped off with Warped Wings housemade Ginger Ale.
They’ve done a fantastic job of trying to keep as many things as possible locally sourced. Cheers to that!

Bryan Suddith

Bryan:
Sometimes you find superb barbecue in the unlikeliest of places. Like the new Warped Wing Barrel Room & Smokery. They are smoking brisket, pork belly, wings, pork shoulder and turkey on a legit Ole Hickory Pits smoker out back.
I’m not gonna lie. Expectations were low and they exceeded them all. The pork belly sliders with fried jalapeño slices were awesome. Just a touch of sweet bbq sauce. Same with the brisket sliders. Great peppery bark and full of smoke flavor. Tender. Good pull. One of the best bites of brisket I’ve had in Ohio! The onion straws and cheese just added to the bite. Wings. Smoked then flash fried for service. Get em with the dry rub.
All In all. 4.5 ribs out of five. Great room. Great service. Awesome bbq.

Lisa Grigsby
Lisa:
The layout felt very urban and if it hadn’t been raining when we went, I’m sure the 2 big garage doors opening to the patio would have let in an awesome breeze. There is a private room, perfect for a meeting or special event, which seats about 30 right now, but post-covid will be a great place for beer dinners of up to 50. Servers came to your table to take your drink orders. If you wanted to order food, you were given a timed buzzer and when if went off you could go to the Smokery Window and place your order, which kept you from waiting in line and is very socially distance and safe. When your food is ready, they bring it right to your table.
I agree with Bryan on the meat, and thoroughly enjoyed the Tater Kegs- big oversized tots stuffed with bacon, cheddar cheese and chives. The sliders come with your choice of fresh cut fries, cowboy chili, mac ‘n cheese, collard greens, jalapeno cheddar grists, BBQ bans or coleslaw.
I predict that this Springboro brewery will be quite the hot spot!

Barrel aging is an intimate and patient process. A lot of our beers rest in wood for up to a year or longer. We are excited to share this process and experience with our customers. The Barrel Room & Smokery will take beer to a new level and will change the way people perceive and interact with beer. That is what I’m most excited about” said Bowman.
“The pilot brewing system will give us endless opportunities to experiment with new beer styles and flavor profiles” said Bowman.
The new facility will not only offer bottled and draft barrel-aged beers but also a staple of its flagship beers such as IPA’s, stouts, lagers and other styles. Warped Wing Brewing Co. has hired Erin O’Neill to design and run the culinary program at Warped Wing. And seeing how he executes his skills while building menus designed around our beers is even more impressive. It’s a total flavor experience”, Haggerty added.
“My passion for food and beer comes to fruition through the eyes of our customers”, said O’Neill. “Seeing the expression of joy on a customers face is what keeps me excited about this business. Partnering with our brewers to create one-of-a-kind food and beverage selections that compliment one another is what we are all about. Beer has always been about sharing. Now our food program lives up to that same expectation”, said O’Neill.
Warped Wing’a new menu for the downtown Dayton location debuts Thursday, June 27th, right before the 4th of July holiday.
