Art Activity: Great Black Artists
At this fun afterschool program kids get to listen to a book, study an artist’s works, and create a related artwork!
In February, we’re studying great Black artists. For example, one week we will read a biography of Edmonia Lewis, view a digital gallery of her famous sculptures, and create our own sculptures using air-dry clay.

Learn to Dance Like a Bridgerton
Do you love the elegant dancing in your favorite period films and shows? Well, join us for an evening where you will learn how to dance like you’re a Bridgerton or Jane Austen character. Feel free to come dressed up in your favorite fancy wear or period costumes (jeans and t-shirts are fine, too, though).

Blood pressure screenings
Lipid profile: Partial or full lipid panel tests are available. The partial panel is non-fasting and measures total cholesterol, high-density lipoprotein and glucose levels. The full lipid profile also includes the measurement of low-density lipoprotein and triglycerides. Requires an eight- to 10-hour fast for accurate results.
Hemoglobin A1C non-fasting screenings for people with diabetes to measure blood glucose levels on average over three months. It also can be used to test non-diabetics who have a high blood sugar result.

Let’s Rock! Rock Painting for Adults
Adults like to paint rocks, too!
Join us for rock painting using acrylic markers. Let your creativity shine through, and create a work of art to keep or hide for someone else to find. We’ll also provide coffee and music to help be your muse. Supplies will be provided.
