Avelo Airlines has just announced they will begin flying from Dayton, OH (DAY) to Orlando, FL (MCO) starting January 11th. Fares start from $49 one way. Flights will be offered on Friday’s and Monday’s.
According to their website, Avelo help you fly for less so you can fly more. That means more opportunities for you to connect with family and friends while exploring new places and revisiting old favorites. They fly out of smaller, more convenient airports, so we also save you time and hassle.
In addition to offering customers everyday low fares on every route, Avelo customers can always change or cancel their itineraries with no extra fees. Avelo also offers several unbundled travel-enhancing options that give customers the flexibility to pay for what they value, including priority boarding, checked bags, carry-on overhead bags, and bringing a pet in the cabin.
Avelo Airlines Chairman and CEO Andrew Levy said, “Dayton – say hello to Avelo! We are excited to bring Avelo to the Birthplace of Aviation, making getting to The Sunshine State more affordable and easier than ever. We believe Avelo’s combination of everyday low fares, industry-leading reliability and friendly service, coupled with DAY’s time-saving convenience will inspire people from across the region to enjoy all Orlando has to offer.”
Avelo has a fleet of 11 Boeing Next-Generation 737 aircraft they use to serve over 30 destinations across the U.S. from their bases at Los Angeles’ Hollywood Burbank Airport, Southern Connecticut’s Tweed-New Haven Airport, Fort Myers’ Southwest Florida International Airport and Orlando International Airport. That means more opportunities for you to connect with family and friends while exploring new places and revisiting old favorites.
