Cincinnati’s Mambo Combo return to The Hidden Gem for an awesome night of Latin Jazz. Featuring Mike Sharfe, John Zappa, Brian Bachelor-Glader, Tim McCord, Jeff Mellott, and Baba Charles Miller.

Hear the museum’s restored Skinner pipe organ and see the beautifully renovated Mimi and Stuart Rose Auditorium. Matt Dierking from the Dayton Chapter of the American Guild of Organists will perform on the 1st & 3rd Sunday of each month at 2 pm.

These informal performances are open to the public and included in the museum’s general admission. You don’t have to stay for an entire performance; feel free to come and go as you like during that time.

The Skinner pipe organ was installed when the museum building was constructed in 1928-29, and it is one of only a handful of such instruments still in existence!

Kick-Off the 2023-2024 APAC Season with this tantalizing tribute to 70s supergroup ABBA! The talented musicians of ARRIVAL from Sweden deliver the most authentic ABBA show, complete with exact replicas of ABBA’s famous staging and iconic costumes. Audiences worldwide shout a resounding “Thank You for the Music” to ARRIVAL from Sweden for keeping the music of ABBA alive.

Break out your groovy leisure suits, your bell bottom jeans, and your glitter and sparkle, and get ready to dance the night away under the disco ball, with a costume contest and a dance party in the APAC lobby before the show even begins! Doors will open at 6:00pm for pre-performance fun, and ARRIVAL from Sweden takes the APAC stage at 7:00pm for a perfect evening fit for every “Dancing Queen!”

A poignant yet high-spirited reflection on love, loss and resilience, Lend Me A Hand emerged as SCI coped with such life-changing events as the sudden death of their close friend Jesse Aratow (a member of their management team for most of the band’s history). As they dreamed up a batch of songs firmly centered on their storytelling, the band joined forces with Brad Cook (Bon Iver, Hiss Golden Messenger, Nathaniel Rateliff & the Night Sweats, Waxahatchee), a producer whose distinct vision helped SCI to fully embrace the album’s rootsy simplicity.

A musical pioneer, having been credited as one of the prominent creators of the Latin Alternative Rock sound of the late 90’s in the USA, this eclectic and unconventional musician has cemented his artistic fingerprints in the music industry for over 3 decades now. Elsten is a multicultural bilingual artist who has performed on stages all over the world as well as an award-winning songwriter with major international hits. He has earned two GRAMMY nominations, two BMI songwriting awards, and six Billboard top ten hits throughout his career.

Soul singer and songwriter Erica Falls credits her unique vintage sound to her childhood growing up in New Orleans’ 9th Ward, where her parents introduced her to Roberta Flack, Aretha Franklin, Stevie Wonder, Nina Simone, Sarah Vaughn, and Whitney Houston.  Whether on stage or in the studio, she channels a sassy, soulful tone that recalls an earlier era.
