Owners Chris and Urmila Holloway are excited to welcome all to the new location of Rumbleseat Wine in their brand new location at Centerville’s Cross Pointe Center. After a dozen years at their original shop, they were ready for an upgrade and have designed this spot for enjoying the many wines they carry. As you enter to the right is the retail area, with hundreds of bottles to select from. The store also carries a wide range of wine accessories, wine baskets, locally sourced snack products and craft beer. Throughout the year they also offer a variety of classes targeted toward wine and beer lovers of all levels and tastes. Gift cards are also available.
Notice the “stage” area set up in the back area to allow room for the live music they’ll each Friday night and tonight they are featuring “Spill the Wine: from 7-9 pm. Chef Joseph DiTommasi will be offering Flatbreads, Cheese boards, Salads, Charcuterie and much more.

A great option for gift giving The Rumbleseat Wine Club – which offers a 1 bottle, 2 bottle, 4 bottle and a 6 bottle option. You can get the club wines mixed however you would like, ie: 3 reds and 2 whites and a rose etc…You can request sweet or dry, big and bold, or soft and fruity etc…
Along with the wines comes a write up of the grape, the region, the winery, their personal tasting notes and any other relevant information such as critics scores, opinions and their tasting notes. You will also receive an easy to make recipe that we have matched with each individual wine. The monthly wine club wines concentrate on the $10-$20 bottle of wine, focusing mainly on the $15 price point (or we have a reserve club that you can name your price point per bottle). There is no time minimum to join the club, enjoy it as long as you would like. Please contact Chris for more information.

For years, the Culture Works Campaign for the Arts at LexisNexis has included a hugely popular wine tasting event fundraiser. Held at the Dorothy Lane Market Culinary Center in Centerville, this fun event brought together friends and co-workers to socialize and sample some of the excellent offerings from the DLM wine cellar and Culinary Center while also raising funds for the arts community. Sadly, this event was cancelled in 2020 due to COVID-19.
You will pick up your prepared meals and wine (packaged for two) at the Dorothy Lane Culinary Center the day before or the day of the event. Plate and warm your prepared meals, pour your wine, and connect to the Zoom meeting at 6:30pm on Thursday, April 22 to hear DLM Chef Carrie Walters discuss the preparation of the food you are enjoying and Wine Manager George Punter share information and history about the two wine selections he has provided. We will also share a few short arts performances for you to enjoy between the conversations.
