Pansies are frost resistant and the first flowers we can really plant in this hardiness zone. I know February and March seem like too early to plant, but with pansies, you are good to go! Also, in checking with the national “big box” chains, SICSA’s prices are less expensive and of equal or better quality.
They have flats of 12 mixed color pansies, as well as 12″ bowls of white, yellow, purple, and mixed pansies available. Supporters can order now and pick up flowers at SICSA Pet Adoption & Wellness Center or The Flower Shoppe on March 16th.

The Flower Shoppe! If you were planning on purchasing flowers to liven up your home, this is the perfect opportunity to do just that while supporting animals in need. Pick your pansies and help local pets!
