Brian Wilson Coming to The Rose

Music icon and co-founder of The Beach Boys, Brian Wilson will bring the Pet Sounds Final Performances Tour to Rose Music Center in Huber Heights, OH on Tuesday, June 18th. He’ll be joined by original bandmate Al Jardine and guitarist Blondie Chaplin. Wilson will perform the Pet Sounds album in its entirety, as well as top hits and fan favorites spanning his amazing 50+ year career. Hailed as a writer of one of the greatest American songbooks, Pet Sounds has reigned atop countless critic and fan polls and has maintained its timeless rank as one of popular music’s most-cited influences.

“We are blown away by the reception of this tour,” says Wilson. “It’s unbelievable how many people love this album. The audiences have been so fantastic, and we are honored to play for them. We never expected this reaction, so we will continue to perform this album for people as long as they ask us to!”

With the help of Dr. Darren Vonnuxley at Entropy’s Enlightenment, Keaton is plunged deep into his own subconscious, where he must confront and conquer his demon, face to face. HOW TO MURDER YOUR MELANCHOLY is a short dark psychological drama with horror elements filmed entirely in the Dayton, Ohio region. This one and only screening of the short film is the directorial debut of local resident Kevin Nam. The director requires a mature audience due to scenes of graphic violence, blood, and gore. Single Payer Action Network Ohio (SPAN Ohio) and Doctors for America are proud to host a screening of the powerful documentary REMOTE AREA MEDICAL. During the U.S. debate about healthcare reform, the media failed to put a human face on what it means to not have access to healthcare. Over three days in April 2012, Remote Area Medical, the pioneers of “no-cost” healthcare clinics, treated nearly 2,000 patients on the infield of Bristol, Tennessee’s massive NASCAR speedway. In addition, we will open a documentary about the famous managers of The Who – LAMBERT AND STAMP. Lastly, we’ll have a one-night only screening of the crowd-pleasing documentary about Hollywood’s “boy next door” – TAB HUNTER CONFIDENTIAL.
